Around 2pm EST from a Uluk Slaughterhound
does the Dull Stone of Sorrow drop any longer? If so how many time do I have to kill this Pig?

Got this drop off off him about 2 weeks ago.
Does this drop anymore? i have killed him numeriouse times and yet to see it drop. Going on 16th kill now

Yeah still drops (4/13/06). Killed Gutfeaster 3 times total, 2 veils, one aug.
Dropped tonight. He wasn't up when I zoned in just happened to spawn as I was running by headed to HS ... so yes still drops ... just that rare I guess
This dropped for me today. (12/17/05)

So there I was minding my own business on my way back to PoK for some bandaides had round 50% HPs and this guy sees through my invis. I pop a health potion and begin working this guy dotting and Life Tapping hiim. Took about 2 minutes, dropped aug. Guess theres something to be said for standing your ground hehe.

Was looking right at him when I was jumped by something while I was backed away about to NEC rez my friend. While I was fighting off the jerk-off, someone ran along and unknowingly took it from me. I was upset. A few minutes later that person shouts the loc at which the corpse with the augment is. When I finally find the God damned thing (I am not very good with locs, somehow I always end up in the wrong direction) someone's ******* looting it.
If you spend any time in DS, you'll get one. They're left on corpse a lot since they're lore. Most hunt this guy for the Shaman epic piece I think.

Camped for an hour killing PH and he dropped on first pop.

I had the same experience, killed the PH 4 or 5 times. Gutfeaster dropped the stone on the first kill.
Popped into DS, zone was pretty empty.
He was up...took him out, easy fight and Aug dropped. Ran by like 40 mins later and he was up again and aug dropped again. (sat on it for a guilie to get there and loot)
On Vazaelle these seem plentiful

Killed this guy 6 times now and never got the aug. Someone told me it depends on time of day as to whether or not he drops the aug. Too bad for me cause they said they got it in the AM and I never can play then.

past few days i havent seen him or his PH up.... no one around camp and i waited 45 min not a thing popped ... saw a few peeps camping him onother day asked them about it and they said been there an hour and no spawns, no PH nothing
this is on A Ro server, has anyone else had problems with him? also stood on his spawn site and did a /target a , and a /target u to target nearest PH or him if underworld... got nothing

He is on a twenty minute spawn timer and I camped this guy for 10 hours over the last two days and it dropped on the last kill before I was goin to bed. Woot I am excited. I will sleep well tonight.

Out of 9 kills, I've had 6 drop. I've been camping the slavehunter for the +5/all resist aug, and I simply smacked this mob every time i zoned in.. PH up? no problem, Kill it, go kill PH's for other named, and by the time you come back, it's about to spawn again..

would this guy be soloable by a 55 pally with over 6.2k hp fully buffed?

Oh hell yea.. my level 62 pet (which is, in reality a level 58 warrior) can solo this mob with nothing but haste... and I'm sure you do a lot more damage.

I got it within 3hours but the person that had the camp before me was there 8 hours without a single drop xD , easy mob tho !

Was trying to get some good xp for my 52 Ranger and spotted this mob. Killed him and he dropped the stone. Was not camping him either :)

Don't know if they changed the drop ratio or anything but I have been camping him for 8 hours now and no drop still, I think in the updates they made this harder to get

some friends and I pretty much took shifts camping this mob for 2 days straight and no aug??? could this be a bug or are we just having some bad luck. please resond if u have had this same problem. and yes we camped him for 48 hours straight and NO aug
Was killing greenies for faction points and saw him on track, killed him easily and he dropped it. 1-16-05
I just happened to stumble over his corpse today, thought what the hell,looted him and what do you know , he had this on him.

I camped this ****** for 11 hours... killed him 10 times he finally dropped the aug on the 10th time.

i camped this guy for about an hour and a half today. Two named spawned and Aug dropped on second one. I am only a 56 shammy and he was still fairly easy to kill.

well i camped him on and off for 4 dayz, about an hour each day...he finally dropped it for me after killin Gutfeaster 3 times, not bad.

Had a PH, Named, PH, Named, Named...and three augs.

Been at this since 12am and now it's almost 12pm and still no aug. Named popped 6 times so far and has dropped the exact same thing each time, veil and hide.

poped into this zone for somthing to do mob was up no one was camping him got aug first kill

He easy to kill did him with my 67Druid slap a Vengeance of Tunare and Swarming Death twice and he's dead =) high ds helps with summon also =)

My monk was neked, waiting for a rez, so I popped into the zone to see if he was up.
He was easy as cake for a neked level 70 monk.
Didn't drop the aug though.

He is Immune to changes in runspeed. Didn't try to slow him and at 1500AC highest hit was 101. He runs at about 20% health and is extremly fast and heads in a northerly direction initially. Could not believe how fast he took off. 5 Hours camping only one PoP.. Dropped caster veil.
Forgot one thing. He nukes for about 440ish.
