Secrets of Faydwer
Best concentration of ghouls is in the northwest corner of the crypt. From the north main entrance, clear in while hugging the right wall. There are 6 ghouls back there, with one roaming blob and maybe a roaming non-KoS shade. Repeatedly clearing those will net you some blades.
There's also a single ghoul at the southeast entrance of the crypt.

They are not really 'common'. I would change that to 'Rare'.

35 kills for 1 drop. I don't know how the rarity is judged, but even on lowbie mobs I'd consider that rare.
