Aside from the crypt part(ironically) and the ship burning because the adds swarm way too quickly and the living creatures in there throw off the whole crypt, an 89 Paladin soloed this whole series of quests.

The first quest is a simple hailing quest, so it's fairly easy to do.

The second is the scouting quest which you will quickly learn either has to be done with patience and IVU or it has to be done in slaughter mode, because any town member engaging you in combat causes a complete loss of all the town locations you found. Then you might need some assistance clearing off the ship for the burning part, because: while I thought it would be fairly easy to do with a rogue merc for dps, there are just too many waves too fast and you're going to a friend or two, or somebody that can take all the swarms at once.

Third quest is the kill 15, simple, easy, just pull from the edges and you don't get more than 2 at a time.

The traps was the 4th quest and this is the longest quest, because farming pieces is a time sink(I'd recommend farming these before you do the hails to spawn the hunters, they can also be prelooted if you're just killing and debating whether to do it), bring friends for the crypt parts, first: getting in to crypt ghouls and bring friends for the hailing cause it's a lot easier to just clear it out. I had to run the raid 3 times to get all the trap updates. If one could figure out how to get 8 setoffs in the raid, a 7 average is fairly easy to get. First time through seemed to be learning and barely accomplished 6, second time was 7, but could quite get any more, so had to run a third time and managed to double spring a trap(this appears to be rare to do) and finish, then took an 84 ranger with me and we cleared the crypts with ease.

The final quest is the actual raid on the town, which may require a tracker(same ranger helped me track them for this), but if you run around the Kirathias village, they'll spawn. However I did notice that the mobs don't stop spawning unless you zone/die(I did neither) and they can be KSed from the villagers. The raid was fairly easy to run though, then when it finished: a sexy ac charm aug went in the bag.

Remember: Don't forget your Eyes of Kirathias, it's definitely worth eliminating the hassle, and tip: run as far away from the ghost roamers as possible after they memblur, that stun gets real annoying when farming treants and mulchs. Enjoy.

I gots no posting skills so please forgive ...

Quest begins with Vaulthun Woodswatcher in Hills of Shade; loc N335.98, 1823.47, 7.28. He gives both tasks at the same time. Make sure you have room for 2 tasks or you may get none or only 1. For us the 1 was the longer which cant be finished without shorter quest.

Seeking Amber:
1) Seek Amber by the Large Neglum tree to the east and a bit north of the village. (she appears to be spawned by this quest and is trackable, we found her at 613.47, 314.39, 79.85. went by a few other times and she wasnt around)

2)Speak to Amber.

3)Speak to Valthun to tell him what you have learned.

4)Speak to Amber's friends to find out where she might have gone. ( Friends are the various light blue and dark blue named that seem to serve no purpose in the village. The only trick here is that you must say Amber to them ... hailing does nothing.)

5) Speak with Valthun to tell him what you have learned. ( about to do that now)

one other little thing that helped ALOT "Eyes of Kirathas" are purchaseable from " a mysterious stranger" in HoS (loc: 448.51, 945.22, 37.77) near where Amber is found ,on the path to her ... eyes make you con warmly to the villagers but vanish if you attack any of them. Take about 60 plat for the eyes.

next task given was " Testing the Invaders"

This is the final reward for the Invasion of the Defilers quest in Hills of Shade. Appears you get the task automatically when you start the 'Seeking Amber' task. It looks like there is a series of tasks required to complete and get this aug. I'm still on 'Seeking Amber' so I haven't figured out anything more about it yet.
