Still not as bad

All I have to say is that no matter how high anyone was in any zone, durning the event nothing upset me more then when people were tring to get pp for the loc of idems. If they are no-drop and you can't use them..........then let someone know who can. I thought that was in poor taste. I'm all for becomes filthy rich, but not that way.

These events are great but...

I am very pleased with the form and content of these latest situational events. However, i have quickly found it most disturbing that events aimed at lower level peeps are being farmed by high levels. Example... The halloween event in Qeynos Hills is obviously targeted for peeps between 5 and 25. The skellies that are part of the event are great xp for a person that would normally be hunting there. Yet every time i am there in the past couple days I see a group of 55+ peeps trying to farm Varsoon the Undying. Big deal, he drops a GBS and some other crap. Level 55+ peeps should be doing xp groups in velks/seb or helping with raids/epics, not KS'ing every damned mob that pops in a "special" scenario specifically intended for peeps much lower than you. ******** like you make me want to support TLC on all servers.

These GM events were not for exp. Although since everybody was running around at these events, wasn't hard to get good camps elsewhere in the world. Anyway, these events were for loot. Therefor, the kills were for anybody that could use the loot. If a level 60 needs a +4 wisdom item, well then I pitty them, but I'm sure they weren't killing stuff for loot they didn't need.

I disagree with you, Pissed Off. I am a level 54 cleric and I have some nice gear, but no where near "uber"...Everything I have has either been bought, quested for, or won by me...I am at a point when I can start working on getting other things that are important, ie, resist gear, which some of this stuff has...These GM events are for everyone. In fact, this is the first series of events that I have had the fortune of partaking ing...So don't worry, it's not like we are coming in just to farm this stuff, collect even the no drop stuff we can't use, etc...We deserve a fair shot at it just like everyone else.

Pissed off mage the events are for EVERYONE who PAYS $9.99 a month. Who are you to say what a higher level needs? If they couldn't use the no drop stuff in those zone they would NOT be wasting their time there. Everything was random anyway so you had as much chance as the next guy to get it. Nobody with any sense goes to an event for exp anyway. Everyone is there because loot they can use drops.

The Druid belt from EK was BETTER then the reed belt my 45 Druid was using. The Monk boots and cheast piece were BETTER then the cresent my 48 Monk was using. I shouted out every item I could not use. Many very low people got stuff from mobs they could never kill.

I could name a dozen things that droped that higher ups could use. Not every high level is an uber powergamer.

Just a question how can u make Vasoon make spawn, and can he be taken by a 29mage?? I can also get help from a Guildmate or two to take him. And will his death end the event? I wont stop the fun for others just to get the items. But im hunting the GBS for a real long time and would enjoy to have it. SO u have to be 55+ to take him down, like the one in EK where u need a 55+ group to take this spectre like thing.

15 times killed pyzin still no drop from GBS and really annoying ;-(

GM events are events designed for the ENTIRE server to come down and enjoy. If a high lvl person (who you must assume is uber as all hell and wouldn't enjoy +3 to some vital stats) can enjoy this piece then why are you ********* The events are for everyone and the reason (most likely) that their put in newbie area's is so that EVERYONE can enjoy it, from the 55+ to the 5 and below. I know a few lvl 55+'s that are even guildless and aren't uber and just play the game for fun. Don't assume that just because they're high lvl they have amazing equip.

I disagree. I've traveled to a few zones having GM events. Qeynos Hills and Everfrost were lower level mobs. The upper level people should travel to Rathe Mountains where they could get XP AND loot. Yesterday in Everfrost Peaks, I was in a small group (Rogue, Bard, Shaman) and we were at one of the towers killing the skeletons, werewolves, and spectre. When a lvl 50+ guy walks in and proceeds to drop every mob within 2 seconds of showing up. I complained and asked him to leave. He refused. Having the 3 runes, my group and I decided on ending the event since we couldn't get XP from it anymore. After killing Elleana (or whatever) everything despawns and back to normal.

sorry you werent happy with this high lvl taking all the kills, but its life. I ran around EK at 48 (still in it too) and was killing greens. nothing there gave xp, and i had already found that it ws impossible to get a group in RM, let alone solo onything that conned blue or white. in RM, snare and root wouldnt stick on the green mobs so that ruined that idea. Plus the mobs in RM had 500 AE nukes with disspell, so any buffs you have go fast. back to EK, i killed everything i could, and even at 48, all the priest class drops were worth my time. i got a total of 5 extra wis, and thats big addon to mana pool. so stop complaining about high lvl killing stuff, the items may still be worth their time, and may be in your zone cuz its less populated. you like it when tehre are 170 people in a zone? thought not. and guess what else? if the "uber high level person" cant use the item, they usually are nice, shout out what item it is, and the loc of it for others who might be able to use it can go get it. and think about this, if you find there isnt any way to get rid of someone....even GMs wont help, try going somewhere else :) it usually works

hint, you should had gone to karnor, exp for your lvl and a badass Gm event, I mean BADASS. A mob actually named "Bloodlet Karnor" was ripping up the zone, but dropped some nice ****. He dropped a nice 12/19 sword, 20+int book, some nice handwraps, an instrument, and a 25ac +15wis totem. It was one of the best GM Events.
