If it drops off these it's very rare.
I've also killed 100+ Valiant Spirits in the NE wing trying to get this to drop. It's either rare or doesn't drop any more since they changed the hot zones.

This is flagged as a minor item (having no stats). To include minor items in searches, use the Advanced Search and check off "Include" for Minor Items.

a Valorian Guard in HoH. I see that a Valorian Guardian is listed, but we had one drop off a Valorian Guard on 11/28/2007.

The first part of the quest can be found in Mistmoore. Each Hot Zone has a Silverwing piece and an augment. After Mistmoore the rest of the Hot Zones also contain a combinable shard to make the Silverwing piece a little nicer piece. My guess is that none of the Silverwing items drop in HOH, however you finish the quest by finding a combinable shard. There should also be an augment in HOH. The lower level items are good for Younger toons. The fifty and above quests have nicer stats for casual players that work in small groups or solo. Raid groups can aquire better items then the Hot Zone items offer.
There is a drop for HOH it is an earring that does not need a shard.
Collect all items and combine them in the box you get a nice little augment.

dropped off of Lieutenant Roset Beatry in HoH today.
Aiden Silverwing is located in Crescent Reach on the ground just north of the dragon platforms

the quest starts when you loot one of the items.You will instantly recieve a quest to find aiden silverwing.
The new hot zones have new quests to go with them. These items are obviously for those quests. Now if someone could manage to find the quest starter, we'd be all set. :-)
