Before LGUK and BB revamps, these went for 15-25k on the Combine server. now, 2k-4k is very common. i bought one for 1k today!

The drop rate on these appears to have been heavily nerfed. I used to see them all the time in bazaar for 2-3k and now I only see 1-3 of them for 25k each.

drop rarely off snakes in katta. sure it drops everywhere just level of mob based. i kill from 73 or so to 79 mobs.
