Why is it that this is the only item that drops from one of the 3 primals, and not the other two? Can anyone comfirm this item to drop from this mob, yet not the other two?

Does backstab effects stack? Do they work for anyone else but Rogues?

It's not an effect, it's a skill mod and since Rogues are the only ones who get the skill to backstab it will only affect rogues.

As far as stacking goes, I'm not sure. If it goes with the general rule that I've always known (If it has a "+" in front of it, e.g. +12% BS, +2 regen, etc, then it is cumulative) then yes it would.

for any good rogue, handling your aggro is nothing, its the DoT proc that sucks. just like the wicked shank. Makes Escape almost pointless if things get bad

The proc on this dagger is the same as the one on Mrylokar's Dagger of Vengence. I used MDoV back before Luclin and the aggro generated from it is not that bad. The lifetap augments from LDoN are stronger than the one on the Spike or MDoV, and even they don't produce excessive aggro. It all falls back on how well you play your rogue and your MA in my opinion.

there is time items better then this and a 21 20 dagger in GoD and smart rogues do not pull aggro.

yup theres 21 20 daggers but i remember back in the day when kunark just came out and SoE said (liers lol) they wouldnt make daggers over 19 dmg or 20 dmg or something like that and now they even have a 22 dmg dagger.... WOOHOO GO ROGUES ON DPS i say lol i have one myself only hes lvl 41

back in kunark they said they wouldn't make any daggers over 15 damage, to balance out rogue dps. that went out the window in Luclin though, so it's not really surprising.

Hehe, that weapon wont hold agro against this weapon. The classes that can wear that weapon can hold agro without swinging it a single time though.
