I just spent the morning (6am to Noon central) in Burned Woodz with a ranger capable of tracking the entire zone. Cleared it multiple times, saw Crude, Sullied, and Thick silks -- never saw even ONE natural.

The drops in Ahkeva are more common than most places. It's mixed in with other silk and then you have to worry about the mind worms and mana stealing mobs, etc.
But if you can take the heat its not too bad a place for silk.

I just looted 1 on a centaur mundunugu in Gorukar mesa alongside rubicite ore. Strange combination but there we go.
Drops from the various goblins in Temple of Droga as well
Have gotten Silk from AC, Dreadland (Drachnids), and Lavastorm (Fire Elemental).
Along with other types of silks, marrows, Loams, metals, hide/pelts, and fluids.
Question I have is, are these items that important for tradeskills?
