first time raid last night and got this bad boy, VERY nasty =) i love it

Got one for my ranger lately. Very nice weapon for those times I have to tank, at least until I am able to purchase the offhand anti-riposte and anti-damage shield AAs. With WA5, the Invigorate ability goes off a lot, and with healing AAs can be very handy. The only problem is that the effect is not affected by Spell Casting Fury, so whereas with a lifetap aug you can get a spell crit and a critical heal on the same round, you can only get critical heals with this sword. Still, healing for 220 every few swings is nice to have and a definite help.
At level 69, max hit non-critical for my ranger is 381. With Veteran's Wrath 3, max critical hit is 881. Overall, a very fun sword to have, and since many 2h melee folks (pallys, SKs, etc) are going for their epic 1.5s/2.0s, this can usually be had fairly easy in my guild's Time raids. Highly recommended for anyone needing a good 2h weapon.

Perhaps you're forgetting the big picture here. Lifetap procs can be resisted, most can anyway. There are a few that are unresistable, like I believe the proc on my friends Morguecaller, but yet, this can't be resisted, so it's a guaranteed heal, kinda like having a permanent HoT.

Yup, very true. That is a good point, I neglected to think of it that way. Makes this weapon even better.

as of 3/1/04 the proc is fixed, got mine tonight, lots of crits for 610, max non crit is 370 for me

A 51 dmg weapon hits for 340 max, so 56 would be around or just over 400 max.

What kind of damage range we looking at for this weapon?
it depends on how good the person is at the skill and there stats probly around 200-350max average
Hehe, why did you even bring up skill? Whoever has this is prolly max'd already or will be max'd in a day or two.

Because the difference between warrior, and say, Sk or pal 2hs dps is the fact that warrior's 2hs skill caps at 250, while sk and pal cap at 225, bit of a difference there eh? So accounting for the fact that some classes have higher or lower skill caps in 2hs, it's easier to give a range based on skill level as apposed to supposing for each independent class.

There's something wrong with this. 36 delay two-handed weapon should have a damage bonus of 40 give or take 1.
The item is also currently bugged, or was as of a few days ago and reports out of charges when it procs.

Damage bonus is correct and I've hard that the proc has been fixed. I've only heard that though.

As of 11-22-03 the sword is still bugged. I've been petitioning to try and talk to a GM (but being on RZ they tend to run from our server) but have had no response yet. It says out of charges when it proc's. Good news is it seems to proc fairly often making the proc more worthwhile then I personally would have thought.

If your copy of the sword doesn't work you need to /petition to have a GM swap it out and give you a new one.

I did a /petition and the gm did not replace the sword :( he told me to do a /bug and that they know the problem, and it will not help to replace my sword.

Add the Bloodied Shard of Kel'Nova +5 damage and you have a weapon that is 61 dmg and 36 dly....ouchies!

The screenshot was sent in by a Firiona Vie (roleplaying server) player, where the NO DROP rules are different than on most servers. Like all Plane of Time gear, this is NO DROP on regular servers.

I don't get why the NO DROP rules are different on this server... I mean what is to stop a PoTime flagged person from just selling all the stuff that would otherwise rot (or giving it to an alt)
For starters, you are allowed only one character per account on FV, so no giving to alts.
secondly, while im sure some of the common stuff, that would normally rot, does make it to the bazaar, i bet the prices are insane.
i do however doubt the good stuff ever sees the bazaar, as they would surely just use them as hand-me-downs in guild. or maybe even keep a few sets of gear banked for backflagging new members. Who knows?

Well there are a lot of players that have 2 or more accounts on FV, so having 1 character per account is no a problem here, I have given my alts plenty items if i have already.

The good stuff does make the Bazaar on Firone Vie, there is one for sell right now for 800k, I see a lot of raid obtained items on this server.
So if you ever want a nice item and have the platt, but dont have time to raid to get these items, you can buy on FV.

I saw this sword in the bazaar on the Firiona Vie server for 750,000pp , A Blade of War for 850,000pp and an Edge of Eternity for 1 million plat.
