Question .. first Why would u sell a charged 1 to a vendor and second the recarge method , sell 1 charged then 1 not charged and buy back em both charged.. for 1 these are Lore. so really maks no sence unless you find a vendor that noone uses i guess and have an alt to buy 1 aswell.. i dunno
There was a slighty cheaty way to recharge items, but has since been removed from the game.
To save space, vendors stored two bits of information about an item - what the item is, and in what quantity, but nothing else.
Identical items with different numbers of charges remaining would be stored as identical items with identical numbers of charges; with charges equal to that of the first item sold to the vendor.
So to use the exploit in this situation: 1. You sell a Crypt Master's Conjuring Stone to a vendor (with a single charge), the vendor would now be offering that item for sale (with a single charge). 2. Now sell him a second Crypt Master's Conjuring Stone, but this time Without a charge. 3. Now you buy back both stones (on two characters due to it being lore), and magically both will now have one charge.
I need to stress though that this exploit was removed a couple of years ago - do not try it now!
Well, I can tell you this much. The Class 5 battery/stone/toolbox thing DOES NOT WORK! I had to use mine and figured I would try it out just for grins. In fact, it didn't work with any class of battery. However, this item has a Type 1 slot for augments and from what I have read (can't remember exactly where), rechargable items do not have any augment slots because recharging an items basicaly destroys the old item and makes a new one. In effect, this would also destroy the augment. It is possible the vendor recharge method may work, but I don't have a second stone to test it out.

Pull an entire raid party out of ToV like this. Summon, recgarge, summon, recharge, was wonderful. Did not need a component. Resold it tonight for 9k pp.

Not impossible, you have another person sell back an item with full charges, then the out of charges item is sold. Purchase both back and they are fully charged.
I just used this in Velks and just cast it. I had no coffin on me and it worked fine. Have not been able to recharge it yet though. I have tried both a mana battery class 5 and a tiny inlaid jade coffin with no luck.
Well so far I see no one has answered any of the questions about this stone so I will ask again...can this be recharged and if it can how does one do it? Also, is there anything needed to use this stone to conjure a corpse. And finally, where do you have to be when conjuring your corpse (in the same zone?)? Thanks!
The item needs a Tiny Jade inlade coffin, the same as the spell does. As for being recharged, no it cannot be recharged; at least I have found no way to do so.

The problem is that range slot is not equal to hand slot. But more importatly people don't want to give up something that took them 6 hours in a level 50 dungeon to get for the same amount that they sold a Stein of Moggok for at level 12. And yes, a level 12 enchanter can do the Stein quest. Level 8 if he's a dark elf.
This is a range item, she was selling it and someone offered 500pp, her point is that the guy is a dumbass because he was offering 500pp because it has similar stats to a Stien but because it is a range item with such high int, it is a very valuable item.
AN Excellent item for a caster to wield, and for any other class to have in a bank. The single charge of summon (or in this case, conjure) corpse could prove very useful.
Dead on floor 6 of the ToFS, without a key? Or under the Avatar of War? ::click:: Problem solved!
This item is dropped off the Crypt Master down near the Royals (sort of). He does have a PH I just can't recall his name right now. Spawn time is just over 15 minutes. (slightly longer then the normal mobs)
One thing to keep in mind for lost corpses. You can go to most major cities and purchase a chipped bone rod for around 5pp. These things have 3 charges of locate corpse. If you're corpse is simply lost but in a moderately safe place these are very useful. If your body is in a dangerous place (eg. under the AoW) then this is a wonderful toy.
The int+10 disease+10 and poison+10 are incredible. Even for people that don't need the int having something with the resists in your range slot is really nice.
As Mureesh stated, its only one charge, so its really not gona save you that much time and space in bank, but still very nice range slot for int casters 8), It will free up other int slots for saves and ac!
The reason necros charge so much, is because the component costs a LOT of money. It's not just the service you're paying for.. it's the cost of doing it. So if it takes a component (which i don't think it does) then you'll still be payin about the same.
