Can this ring be recharged?
# Oct 07 2002 at 8:30 AM Rating: Decent
I accidentally made the mistake of purchasing this ring for 3k in the bazaar yesterday, not realizing it had charges. I used them all testing the ring. Sigh. Would be great for pvp if it had unlimited charges... but it doesn't.

So... how can I recharge this ring? Can it be recharged?

Who's this named after?

I've got a 54 paladin in my guild named Dranon.

Wonder what he did...

This ring is randomly dropped off the wyverns in skyshrine. It's one of the many rare drops that can be found of the wyverns and higher-level mobs deeper in skyshrine. They also have the tendancy to drop high-level gems such as diamonds and blue diamonds. One good group of 50+ can camp here and the wyverns can be harmony pulled. They are resistant to mes but can be charmed from what I hear. This area is almost *never* camped due to the dragon faction hits and relative remoteness of the camp.

Uh, can we talk about the ring on this board instead of Tash... who drops this? This rare or common?
#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 07 2001 at 3:41 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I am reallyt curious where people are getting information, or maybe I am just not able to understand what people are trying to say. Why would this be a great tool against an enchanter? The Tash line, is a MAGIC resist debuffer, and to my knowledge has nothing to do with poison. Don't believe me? http://eq.castersrealm.com/spells/spell.asp?Id=20

the tash line is poison based, and debuffs MR.

If youve ever done anything related to pvp you should know this. Cure poison spells and potions will get rid of tash line effects, cancel magic line spells and items WONT.

I stand corrected, but I will have you know that I don't play on a pvp server and therefore would not have known this information.

#Anonymous, Posted: Oct 06 2001 at 12:55 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I think I can speak for everyone on this topic. Please people when you know that someone has been camping for a long time, don't pester them about when they are going to leave. Don't sit down next to them to "wait" until they are done. You might be waiting a long time and then the time it takes for you to complete your camp on top of that. The NPC will always respawn and will always be there. Just ask them kindly if they will send you a tell when they are done and 9 times out of 10 they will. These players are tired from camping that long of a period and quite understandably a little grouchy and become extremely nervous at the thought of someone possibly stealing their kill. So, be courteous.

Help!

Do your duty! Help knock that idiot's rating down past 1.50!
#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 05 2001 at 5:02 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I assume you mean shammys as enchanters dont cast poison ;)
#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 05 2001 at 5:06 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Idiot. Tashan line of spells is based on Poison Resist. So you can use effect to kill tashan and chanter would have to recast. Sadly though the 5 charges wouldn't make a dent in the chanters mana. Tashan is cheap to cast and gives a nice magic resist kill effect.
#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 05 2001 at 5:31 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I'm afraid you are the idiot...Tashan isn't based on poison. It isn't based on ANY resist, it is unresistable. You might be able to get rid of it with cure poison, but it isn't based on poison resist.

It never ceases to amazing me how many people think they know something, post it here, and then arguement starts. Thats why I loath reading the item discussions. 80% of the posters are saying that whatever the item is is an uber Monk item, and the other 20% says that it's fake.

FYI: Tishan is a poison based debuff. The fact that it's unresistable has no bearing on this. All spells have a resistance tag weither they can be resisted or not. Please feel free to download a spell parsing program, and you'll see for yourself.

I would have rated your reply highly except you made the age-old mistake of thinking anyone who doesn't know much about another class is an idiot. Therefore I have rated your post as poor. Any reason we can't be nicer to each other around here, people?

I agree with Leafbringer, and I gave him an excellent rating, I just don't know why everyone likes to use these posts as an arguement ground. If you don't agree with someone's posts then just present your facts and prove them wrong, there's no reason why you need to start with the name calling and insults. It can be done with civility.
Assuming No cast time...
# Oct 05 2001 at 4:33 PM Rating: Decent
Assuming no cast time, this is an excellent pvp tool, especially against enchanters.
RE: Assuming No cast time...
# Oct 07 2001 at 11:55 AM Rating: Good
you do realize Tash cost 30 mana, so you'd waste 5 charges just to make an enchanter use 180 mana to keep tash there?
#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 06 2001 at 7:57 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Yeah it is -- this blows our Tashan/Tashani/Tishan/Tashania line of spells straight out of the water. ouch.
