You know, I just don't get this. The Focus on this thing is as useless as tits on a boar hog for Enchanters.

If you're raiding in Solteris, which is the only place you can get the currency used to buy this armor, you're damn well going to have the "Quick Buff" AA maxxed. That means that ALL buffs cast 50% faster, which is the quickest you're going to go...period. Any Foci that hasten buff casting times are completely useless to you, because you're at cap.

I guess they gave the same Foci to ALL the pure Caster armor; if that's the case, I don't know why they bothered differentiating the names on the items. By using the same cookie cutter template for the armor, like they did with the Praetorian's, I guess they've proven Shakespeare right. "A rose by any other name..."

I can't wait for an ENC-only robe with a Poison-based DD/DoT focus on it. Or Arms with a Disease-based DD/DoT focus. God knows, we need those MUCH more than yet another item with a good buff/detrimental extension focus...

Example: Look up the number of items a pure Caster can use with the "Wurine Guard" focus. There's just one...and it drops off of Mayong Mistmoore, and just happens to be All/All. And it's got a clicky Illusion on it, so won't be much competition for that, not at all... Oh, and most of the TSS/TBS items with high buff extension Foci on them are, among others, PAL and BST usable, but of course not ENC usable. God knows, raids would just fall apart w/o a 35% extended BSG! And you never know when a 35% extended Spiritual Vim will spell the difference between success and failure!

(Yeah, I'm a tad bitter about it. Ever since I hit Lvl 51 and was able to start doing my AAs, I've been VERY OCD about the duration of my buffs. Any Focus or AA that extended buffs was always my primary concern; the longer C or Haste lasts, the less often I need to recast it, and the more desirable it is to my group/raid/Guild. In the end-game, I'm often relegated to being just a buff-bot, so I want to be the best buff-bot I can. I just wish SOE would pay more attention to detail, because they make the most inexplicably idiotic decisions when it comes to which Foci go on which gear, and which Classes can use that gear.)
