Old Man Draykey may be found in the northwest corner of the zone at +1915, +4535.

You say, 'Hail, Old Man Draykey'.

Old Man Draykey says 'Greetings, ______! Have you [come to participate] in the festivities?'

You say, 'I have come to participate.'

Old Man Draykey says 'Excellent, excellent! For those of you that enjoy trick-or-treating I have set up an event beyond anything you have done before. I will have convinced ten...well beings...not all of them are really people, to help with this. It's a very tricky endeavor, with highly complex [instructions]. Prepare yourself and then I will reveal the secrets to you.'

You say, 'What instructions?'

Old Man Draykey says 'First of all you need to know how to properly speak with these people. Once you find them, you simply need to say 'Trick or treat', and see what they have to say in return. I have compiled a list of my helpers around Norrath and have written them down in my book. As I have said, there are ten people each with a piece of candy you'll need to collect. Once you've collected all ten return to me with the full bag.'

You will receive his Draykey's Codex, a book of hints as to where to find the mobs, and a Trick-or-Treat Bag, a 10-slot GIANT container. The Codex reads:

Search out those that have treats for you. Here is a small list of clues as to where they can be found.

1. Hiding in the bushes of the dead house.
2. The pinnacle of enlightenment.
3. He's not Slate, but he's close.
4. Wanders in a pit in the land of his kind.
5. A short man in an icy land, food can be found in his hands.
6. Lurking in the forest near a feline retreat.
7. He found out the hard way that drinking and swordplay do not mix.
8. Hidden away in the caves of his lair.
9. Toiling in the fields of the gnoll's family.
10. He's fallen down the stairs, but it's been kept under wraps.

The goal of the quest is to /target and say "trick or treat" to these ten NPCs:

Zone - Name - Item Received

Unrest - Crabby the Rotten (found in either of the hedge mazes) - Candy Jack-o-Lantern

Crabby the Rotten says 'Gimme gimme gimme. . .You people make me sick! Here's your nasty little treat, now leave me be.'

Plane of Knowledge - Grand Librarian Maelin (top of the library) - Jawbreaker

You say, 'Trick or treat.'

Grand Librarian Maelin says 'Ah, here you go. Fresh from the Sugar Assembalage 2000.'

East Commonlands - Sergeant Ragus (wanders along and around the path) - Rock Candy

Sergeant Ragus says 'Hah! Here's the tastiest treat of them all! Enjoy!'

Field of Bone - Immug Lashtail (named iksar skeleton wandering the pit) - Gummie Kobolds

Immug Lashtail says 'Why is it that you people keep pestering me for these? Here's your treat, now tell everyone else they can find me off under the ocean or some nonsense.'

Iceclad Ocean - Nilham the Chef (sitting inside igloo in gnome village) - Chocolate Coin

Nilham the Chef says 'Can ya believe the Cap'n thought these were real when I first started handing them out? Hah! At least he did until they melted in his pocket!'

Toxxulia Forest - Fuzz (stands on beach/west wall of the zone on the same side as Kerra Isle zoneline) - Carmel Apples [sic]

Fuzz Selppa says 'Careful with these, or they'll get stuck in your teeth!'

Castle Mistmoore - Nate (stands in back of the graveyard) - Fairy Fizzles

Nate says 'Well, it's not ale but you'll just have to deal with that. . .By the by did you happen to bring any ale with you?'

Netherbian Lair - Poil Lolp (in any cave, standing still) - Lollipop (note its name is an anagram)

Poil Lolp says 'Brave of you to have come back into the dark cave. Braver still if you try this treat. . .'

West Karana - Scary Miller (wanders the field of the Miller family farm) - Candy Corn

Scary Miller says 'Here's something from one of our more unusual crops, see what you think.'

Befallen - Wraps McGee (locked room on bottom floor, kill "a shadowknight" to get the key) - Tasty Candy

Wraps McGee says 'Here I'll just wrap this up for you. . . Get it? Hahaha!'

Note that sometimes the NPC will "trick" you and give you something like Coal, Sand, or Pocket Lint. If you receive a "trick" instead of the "treat," the NPC will not despawn, however, so zone out and back in and say "trick or treat" again. Repeat this until you get the treat.

Combine all ten treats in the bag to get a Full Trick-or-Treat Bag. Give this to Old Man Draykey.

Old Man Draykey says 'Ah ha! You've found them all! Excellent work, here's a bit of candy for you and something else as well. Enjoy!'

You receive a Bristlebane's Ticket of Admission and five stacked snack-size stat food. The food you receive may be level-dependent.

Old Man Draykey is one of four NPCs that Zigan Ribshard in the Plane of Knowledge hints about (he is the goblin near the Field of Bone portal). For each of their tasks, you are given a ticket of admission. You hand these tickets to the "Puppet" NPC in Kithicor to receive a monster mission.

I have foraged them in "Thalassius, the Coral Keep" for certain. I cannot recall if I have foraged them in other TBS zones.
