1) This is just a game. Putting people down over a game is disgusting. Putting people down for thier ideas is as bad as the Vatican in the various cover ups they had - which they admit to, if someone tries to disagree.
2) When I said requires to I was refering to making the game interesting. Would it be interesting to go through a maze by walking on top of the walls? Would you even make the effort to even bother with a maze puzzle if you could go around the borders? The walls in a maze make the maze, which makes the game. Can you see that? Do I need to make it plainer in some way?
In my opinion, the four hour run I had to do the first time I did the Stien quest was worth it. I had fun. The struggle and danger in Kaesora to get into the library is one of the funnest parts of the game. Did you not feel the challenge in obtaining an item? Was that not fun? If it wasn't, there are many other games other there that will fulfill your ideas of fun - evidently EQ is not the game for you.
Lastly, for your slur, I've been playing the game off and on for about a year now. My highest level character is 40th... It looks to me there is someone that doesn't have social life - believe me, I'm not that person.

Impressive. Mr. Rennai here says to go enroll in your local Univsersity. I guess he shouldnt have dropped out after his 1st year of women rejecting him and falling into a lonesome drunken stupor everynight. Its fallacy mr. educated. At least if you had put an 'a' in there you could have gotten away with calling it a typo. Anyway, to the point of farming. WHO CARES. Yeah, it pissed me off when a high level was farming areas i wanted to go with my mid 30's character, but now that im 50, im doing it. Thats fine. I dont sit around trying to get 10 in a row, i sit around trying to get one of what i need and leave. There isnt anything wrong with that. Oh, i liked Mr. Rennai's 'personal attack' that was a logical "FALLACY". I love it when ppl claim that some1 has no life when they have level 50+ characters. What is sad is that Rennai here has probably logged 40 days playing in order to get to lvl 40, while us others get to lvl 51 in about 10 days playing time w/o powerleveling. Go whine somewhere else about your inadequacies in life and dont take it out on others who have fun playing this game.
