I know this wasn't introduced at this point, but the Fabled Throneblade of the Ykesha is ranger usable and very nice damage.
Rangers with 2hs though? Weird. Sword it up dual wield style or be a pincushioner.

just got this tonight!! only used it for like 20 min before i logged but i hit for 300 (non crit) hope it hits for more, but i love the stats on it too!! wish it had a better graphic. Since I am on SZ I will enjoy using this in PVP! BTW graphic looks the same as the OT hammer ( the one that ports you to OT)

I am a warrior. I don't have this one; I have the rocksmasher, which is very similar, and I use it all the time. It is a misconception, a misconception held even by many high level warriors, that you get better aggro with many fast hits. I have been using 2-Handers exclusively for a while, and I hold aggro in my groups, I hold aggro when I MT in raids, and sometimes I even pull aggro off a taunting, dual-weilding warrior when I am not taunting--and none of my weapons has a proc (the other one is the windblade).
Basically, holding aggro = taunt, + damage done + proc. Procs are nice if they go off but they don't always go off soon enough or reliably enough to get aggro when needed. So high damage is what a warrior needs, and 2H seems to do more damage than dual weild.
For this same reason, I have trained both offensive and defensive aa as I have gained them. I came back to EQ when PoP came out and now have 70aa (I had none); I have natural durability 3 (hit points) combat agility2 (damage avoidance) combat stability 2 (damage mitigation) combat fury 3 (more crits--yeah right) tactical mastery 3 (an offensive aa that lets you cut through enemy defenses like dodge, parry and RIPOSTE--thus making it also a defensive aa) and punishing blade 2, which increases hits with a 2H. Far from the standard warrior wisdom of max hp first, then defensive skills, but hey, those things are worthless if you can't hold aggro, and damage means more aggro.

I am a 60shm on SZ and i would love to have this weapon... it would be awsome just because i enjoy 2h blunt better then my epic... which i only use in PvP situations anymore because its dot is rarely resisted... 2hb is my favorite thing because i enjoy having people think my ogre shm is a warrior... do i believe a shaman should get this weapon over a tank... of course not... im just saying it would be sweet to have it hehehe... and if a rocksmasher dropped... let the tank have that and me have this *grin*

My monk was lucky enough to win this fine weapon a couple nights ago and I absulutely adore it. After looking at the other possible 2hb weapons available I noticed none of the truely awesome ones were totally weightless like this one, not to mention none of the others grant a 25AC bonus (accept maybe primal but then your stuck depending on a proc, not that I would mind that but I dont have one) for comparison from Using Tranquil staff and switching to this, with the weight of 10 cut to 0 my character gained 90AC over using TS, and 162 extra hps, also ATK was raised dramatically from the +25str this weapon has. So with ATK now over 1200 with epic proc going hits are ranging average 150 to 285 , rarely do I hit under 100 at all, on raids with focus and call of predator max hit I have seen so far is 313(non critical) and 554(non critical) using innerflame, but the 554 was on Sontalak so might be higher if not on such a high AC mob. Triple atks hit upwards of 700dmg+ so aggro can be horrid.

With epic 40%haste and 26% Siblisian Berz Cloak thats roughly 66% which I figure is 66% of half the delay removed , which would make this 48dmg 28del for me thats probably wrong but it does seem pretty fast for hitting over 200 alot. Get one and decide for yourself, the Dragon who dropped it Jorlleag went down pretty Easy IMO. Goodluck all and happy hunting , oh ya this also is size tiny

monk usable 48/42 weapon 0.0 wt, adds pretty good AC, figuring in haste..and power of hits..facesmasher was not an appropriate name, maybe, um, say, wrecking ball..sounds better to me..there may be weapons with better ratios but..

What about when said warrior is NOT the main tank? Oh, a situation where drawing aggro is the last thing you want to do?
I love how warriors rationalize getting a weapon they'd use in select situations versus a hybrid who'd use it in all situations
I love to see a hybrid rationalize getting a weapon by saying they would solely use it which would be a lie. Its all situational...but on a PvP server anyone who could use would want in on roll as it is an item that would see use daily there! Come to where the men are......

i know a lot of warriors don't keep up there 2hb skill but this weapon rules... it's like your carrying a shield with the ac25, plus the ratio is killer, and the stats... *gasp*+25str and +15 sta and hp+100 that's just awesome, i'm looking forward to owning this weapon, if i ever get to ToV=p
