i know no one has posted here in years, but here is a new question. if i were feared by a mob's AE effect, would the clicky spin stop me from running and make me spin as if rooted, until spun wore off, hopefully around time fear wears off?
I'm pretty sure you can't cast anything when feared (instant or otherwise). However there are not push and pull spell components in the game and you certainly can cast at those times. So your idea would stand there and might well work!
Got this cool click today but the sucky thing about it is the spin is only visable to yourself and not others.Makes it kind of meh.
also has 25 mana hp and endurance on it...

All of you who are talking about rogues, stuns, spinning targets etc, and especially their dps..... BTFW rogues DON"T want spinning targets, as in a raid setting, the most dps rogues do is when a mob is cornered to the main tank. Oh yeah, if you're really into raiding, no matter what the level of mob, you don't want it spinning on rage... n00b...

this is as good for a melee as it is for anyone else eye of narandi is like a cheap version of this and its pretty cheap and maybe you can pass this to someone that needs it in the guild

Any rogue worth their salt knows how to frontal backstab in a PvP situation. You never need to be behind someone when dueling them.

well you see the effect is not targetable, so the rogue would end up spinning themselves, not you

Got me one of these the other day, added about +60 HP and +30 AC or something like that. Pretty nice.

LOL - you've never done tradeskills I see - the GM tradeskill trophy gives +50 CHR as well as +10 STR/WIS/INT and summons 10 slot/giant sized/100% weight reduction bags, one of which can be made permanent.
My chanter has this in her range slot (although it can also be put in primary or secondary as well as ammo - won't give any benefits in ammor right now though) and is quite happy at 34.

I'd definitely replace my Idol of the Thorned for this.. More AC, and the HPs wouldn't hurt at all, niehter would the mana for that matter.

Im a monk so i would love this but I would think that the other melee classes would love this to and get the chance to get it. Would be great for a bard with the Cha plus. I would not give it to a caster because the stats are more melee type stats exept for the mana witch would be nice for a hybred
sorry this is a chanter item. cha sta (hps) agi (get hit less while tanking trying to mez) pure hps and mana.

There is a lot of good range for bard/monk in NToV, but this one is smply the best an ench can have. It's no drop. Better to give it to someone who is sure to use it well all the time, cause another class can ask after better items.
just take a look at the Serrated Dragon Tooth.
This orb is an AC HP and CHA item, don t care about the mana, and enchs need them badly.

hehe before saying things like "wouldn't give it to a caster", remember who mezzes the extra critters so they don't bash you=P
Please stop with the "monk item" thing. It's getting old. I'm sorry but not every lightweight item with high ac on it is a monk item. CHA and mana is just as important to any enchanter as AC/HP is to any tank.

pfft! Enchanters need good ac and hp.. not to mention the mana. This is before we get to the issue that Enchanters really need 250 cha at higher levels. When you add all that together, you have a tough time getting high ac high hp and high cha not to mention getting 200 Int.. and then of course I haven't even gotten to the saves yet. Yes the AC is good for a range slot item. I'm sure tanks would like this, but Enchanters need more items like this and it would be wrong not to let them have it first.

Tell that to your enchanter who is likely drooling over the idea of 15cha in range slot (I know of no droppable +cha range items)

As a mage I wouldn't want this item I agree it is a nice monk item, however all melee could benefit from the ac. The 25 ac is nice, but at that level you have better things available to you. 25 ac in the range slot is nice though. Perhaps your friendly neighborhood enchanter could make good use of the 15 cha on this item. Though the effect certainly would amuse me for hours :)

The effect is also on the bottle in the Magi spell:Bristlebanes Bundle..when you right click it it Causes you to spin but no status or Stats change...it will probibly cause the target to spin or just you...click to find out...^_^

I would assume that it'd just make you spin. Otherwise people would abuse it by spinning enraged mobs to throw off their attack sequence or something equally funny. Could you picture Dain spinning in place as a guild beat him down?

There are Rogue poisons and weapons that do this... Clockwork Poison, Roderick's Gift (proc that works on the wielder). Does this Proc do any damage, stat decrease, or debuff like those effects?
ok, please tell me what this proc is... I can't figure it out for the life of me... some kind of spinning stun is about all I can think of... please... must... know.... proc...

I was there when we got this thing, i dont call it an orb cause its a thing....was the ONLY drop off zlexak i think i think his name is spelled, the hoshx10 clone in TOV. Forgot who got this, maybe yalara. anywho it was a member of Talisman, of Tunare. definetly NOT a POM item, even tho it is a joke to come as the only drop off a dragon like exlax.
btw those thinking about items from POM, go to www.planeofmischief.com there you will read that NO items drop in POM, only cards etc. they are quest items you use to recieve items.....note there is no quest attached to this item, therefore it cant come from POM. POM is a joke in itself, after spending time in TOV who would want to go to POM?!!?
