I too have a Paladin who servers Brell Serilis and would like to work towards the Warden's Symbol. Can this be used from any inv slot or the neck only?
Isn't there a Disciple Symbol of Brell? Several of the other gods get these symbols that give them abilities that they would normaly never have---i.e. DE Clerics get a darkness snare(god, i'd love that). At 44th lvl I could actually solo stuff with a snare capability.
Drakuss
Oh ya..we get summon Dwarfen spirits or whatever lame a$$ crap.
I coned these at 12, and they were from red to yellow, I doubt you could do this quest at lvl 10 like it says without a group. At 18 I went back and took out the lot of em though.
hay why cant my dwarf pally that worships brell ware this i am after all his worrior up i guess if thats the way the all mighty brell wants it thats the way it will be
I think these quests are great. I love getting things that proc, esspecially at low levels. And when you can get this item on your own, makes you feel good to have it. Also, don't you want yer clerics to have higher WIS for more healing anyways?
Yeah, it's kind of stupid that anyone besides WIS casters has to get to velious for this kind of quest, even if some of the symbols aren't all that great, it would be nice;
As for stats being the same as the Rallos Zek symbol, yes it is; but if I recall correctly, yaulp and strengthen stack, and since this one is for yaulp-only classes, it's kinda nice.
Don't have to go to Velious for scaling Quests, the whole qeynos badge series takes place in and aaround the Karana's. Not sure if the quest is still active or not though, seeing as how its been a couple months since they clensed the Karanas, but think I temember seeing the quest mobs on track the last couple times I ran through the area.
Ok verant finaly starts puting thing that actualy looks like its Roleplay oriented and you come out and bach it. I mean of course they are gonna have simmilar effect they are all godly sybols but you can now not only be "lev X clerc/shaman of X god" but be an initiat, neonate or whatever i aprouved when these kind of quest where implemented for us iksar and im glade that the cleric/shaman from other races get to advance in other ways then by level. atho its sad that only wis caster class get to have that kind of hierarchi(urg im prety shure thats not how its spelled but im not english by birth so pardon pls.)
I'm pretty sure this is teh exact same item as the Initiate Symbol of Rallos Zek for Ogre Shamen except it has effect Yaulp, instead strengthen which is a shaman spell, right?
All the intiate symbols are the same, except for the god worshipped and the spell they cast. Rallos Zek - Yaulp (cleric level 1 spell. Useless because they put a long casting time on it, but it only lasts 18 seconds.) Tribunal - summon magic hammer (same as cleric level 9 spell). Innoruuk - Weakness (enchanter level 1 spell)
I don't know the rest, they are slowly adding these for each religion. They are 'progressive' quests with some getting novitiate and disciple symbols too.
The first symbol for Tunare worshippers is a poison/disease resist buff. +10 each, not a spell already in existence. Second symbol is an upgrade to the first +15 each. Third symbol casts grasping (?) roots, the lvl 5 druid root spell which does 10 DD in addition to the root. Has a loooooong cast time. The PR/DR buff lasts only about 2 minutes, and then has to be recast.
Its not a "loooooong cast time" on the Warden Symbol. Its about 4.5 seconds. Compared to the 2.5 seconds of the original spell, there's not much difference.
My level 53 druid uses the Right Click effect instead of ANY other root spell. The manaless cast any freed up spell gem slot is easily worth the extra 2 seconds (or extra 2.75 seconds if you use the level 39 druid root for the quick cast) this effect takes.
This effect has saved numerous groupmember's lives and coupled with a set of ES sleeves, you can save the day and finish off up to 3 or maybe 4 mobs depending on how quick you are at targeting.
This thing is a lifesaver as well as a great utility item.
