This is not THE BEST MAINTANK WEAPON, the proc takes 700 points off the mobs hate list, therefore making it much more difficult to hold the agro. More suited for a ranger I'd say.
no guild in there right mind should let a ranger obtain this weapon all,it would only **** off the cleric cause he would have to heal you if you lived the first 10sec. of the battle and the rez. and this increases you on the hate list so if anything is should be on a warrior cause they could take the hits

you are absolutely incorrect, this is THE MOST TAUNTING WEAPON IN THE GAME. If you're NOT a MT you have no business weilding this weapon. We have 4 of these weapons between the two guilds who cooperatively kill AoW regularly. Look at the name of the proc, Enraging Blow...that should say it all.

Lowering you on the hate list means it decreases what number you are on the ranking, so to speak. Or you could look at it this way (example only):
There are 1200 people on the mob's hate list. The person in the # 1 spot is the one he hates the most. The person in the # 1200 spot is the one he hates the least. Let's say when your group starts attacking your tank, who currently holds agro, is in the # 600 position, and you are in # 700. If you use this weapon and it procs your ranking is changed to # 1 which makes that mob hate you more than anything else, and thus you get a mad agro on you. In the case of a ranger this could mean big trouble because of lower ac/hp than your tank and means you get hit harder and die faster.

I know it says lowers you on the targets hate list by 700, but that actually increases your aggro. If you look at something like jolt, it says, lowers you on the targets hate list by -500. So unless the number is negative, it does increase your aggro.

OMG you people....Ranger weapon HAH!!!!
This proc is awesome for warriors. Why the hell would there be a weapon off a mob like this that has a proc that takes aggro away from warriors. This thing is a good taunt weapon. There are some other weapons that have the same proc that drop in Ssra. Come on people use some common sense....Ranger Weapon sheesh.

There are some other weapons that have the same proc that drop in Ssra. Come on people use some common sense....Ranger Weapon sheesh.
