That would be pretty cool! It could be a waist item. Just like Halflings get little anklet quest items for the feet.

I'll throw my hat into the ring to guess. If it's dropped from some obscure mob, it's likely a midlevel mob. Or a very wacked high level mob with crappy loot.
In a way, this is like an NoS, but without the stat boosts to everything. (And the fact that it's a face item for 3 classes.) Overall, it's an "ok" resist item, but not for general combat gear.

Perhaps you're thinking that because of the bronze-silver-gold-platinum symbols of T'vyl. Those are dropped by the followers of Lanys T'vyl, who are currently hiding out in befallen. V'ri is someone different, although he/she could be a dark elf (they tend to have 's in their last names)

i belive he may have been refering to using this item IN befallen because of the variety of spells that are cast upon one in that zone. lots of magic, fire and ice spells so the resists wouldna be all that bad. maybe not, i just a dumb newbie
