the prexus armour

I have a level 55 mage who, after getting my chanter up in smithing Smiley: jester I leveled up in tailoring I wanted to make this for my cleric a prexus one but no one seemed to be able to imbue the BP so I worked the cleric up to 29 and imbued the pearls and made her a set of this, I am very happy with it, I think the stats are great for leather it is differnt then what others have ( I am the only one that I know of who can imbue BP on my server so I am pretty much guaranteed to be one of a kind, which I kind of like.
The colour is a nice shade of blue and I hope to wear it for a long while. Smiley: yippee

I was glancing through the databases and came upon this extremely nice looking suit of armor... I have to say that if I tailored and were rich (probably neither will happen ever) I would DEFINITELY attempt to make a suit of this at least once (for an Erudite Paladin twink) and I did some advanced mathematics... heres a list of stat bonuses for you lazy people.

From the pieces listed (no collar, waist, mask) and with 1 bracer, this suit yields as follows:

+101 AC (8 more than a suit of fine plate of the same pieces)
+46 strength (woot)
+31 dex
+4 agil (doh.. erudites have sucky agil)
+16 wis
+99 HP
+128 mana
+48 sv pois (nice for the deficit erudites start with)

With the 3 missing pieces and some nice jewelry, I can't see why anyone wouldn't want a suit of this for their Erudite paladin (even cleric). I can't decide whether it's worth the trouble, but I'm leaning towards YES.

Oh yeah, it probably looks really cool too =D

To Brugden's post, Armor of Ro is not higher AC wise. It is equal or less than Steelsilk..
Wow, great for PR and weight

No pally or cleric would probably wear this beyond the 40's or so (opting for something like the enamelled black BP even or above) but a partial set of this would be great to keep around for the cleric at least for the poison res during some dragon battles. Or maybe it would not be worth it even then (since otherwise the cleric would probably be in planes armor)

Has an erud cleric or pally actually made any of this stuff for themselves?
LEATHER :)

As stated this is a LEATHER ARMOR it is TAILORED :) so a 20 ac leather bP with a sick as heck look to wear until your walking around with is in no way bad I have a shadowknight on Lanys server she wear a full set of Crustacean shell armor yes there is better ac out there but considering I have the Str and Sta of a Ogre i can dish out way more damage then most people ive beaten warriors at my level and yet when im not fighting i walk around wth a Set of Dark forge armor when i can because it looks nice so please dont diss the erudite leather armor it looks awesome and is a great outfit to travel in :) PS EE bags are wonderful things to carry armor in :)

Doh, maybe its a mistake or maybe they will add it later. I see no reason why the platinum silkthread cannot be enchanted or so. Hmmmmm.
No Enchantment
# Aug 01 2001 at 1:11 PM Rating: Decent
As there is currently no "Enchant Terrorantula Swatch" spell, there is no way to make this more enchanted than it already is. It should be noted, though, that the basic Steelsilk has excellent stats on its own. Imbuing it merely alters them slightly to the owner's preference in flavor.

Can this stuff be enchanted as well as imbued?

Heh, btw, Friedrich is an Erudite ENCHANTER. Sorry...had to say it, he is my guild master.

Personaly, i think having erudite cultural armor that is only usable by plate wearing classes is foolish on the part of verent.

heh

Naldiin, I think Friedrich said he Uber-Twinked his newbie Prexus Paladin with this stuff.

I wouldn't normally respond, but . . .

First this is a nice Paladin or especially a cleric peice. Armor of Ro is only 1 AC higher and has fewer stats. As for there not existing any caster wearables I'm sure it's because they haven't been combined yet or haven't been patched in.
