had this axe from 31 to 40. than i bought me a stained axe of the scions and i switch them in and out while using a defenders lightblade in primary. all in all this is a good wep for rangers and other meleers who want to taunt the monster off the caster.
I use a Gut Piercing Longsword with this sucker, hits pretty nice with both of the procs, although DPS is not what it could be with other weps. This is a pretty nice axe though, considering i picked it up for 300pp

I picked this weapon up because of the 80 damage proc.Is not bad for the price(usually under 500pp)I say the graphic is Ok, nothing imposing--it looks like a big hatchet.Usually Procs once or twice in a fight, less in the offhand --this will vary depending on your dex.
in a Ranger who just turned 45, and had to put my GBS in the bank, and make use of it only for fletching, but now im at a loss. I have Flamesong in Primary, and im looking for a good procing weapon for secondary, Im not sure whether this would be a good buy, or another procing weapon, and money is kinda tight, any suggestions would be helpful.
Once Velks became the preferd zone for upper lvl's this axe became the preferd off hand weapon. It also replaced the SSoY as the procing weapon of choice. However once SoL came out the centi long sword took over as the prefed off hand weapon, and velks was abondednd for zones like UP and eventully PoP zones. Now with eveyone wantoing procing weapons again this weapon is once again in demand.
Heck yeah. My warrior has this weapon on primary, but his DEX is not so hot at just 114 unbuffed. And yes, I'm using the DLB on the offhand. I'd be lucky if it procs twice whilt fighting mobs in DSP.
As soon as I have a level 39 shaman DEX buff, it procs at least four times.
p.s. Bought this axe for 75pp in povar server bazaar, excellent!
6 AC is listed under Dmg Bonus. AC is 10 When I equip this weapon, I get an extra 16 AC. However, I also have a Jagged Blade of Mourning, which has a Dmg Bonus of 6 AC and normal 3 AC, but I only get 5 AC when I equip that. Im lvl 45 but there is no lvl req on the Jagged Blade. Anyone know how this works?
You defense skill rating affects how much ac you actually get from items. If you have high defense skill, then you get even MORE ac than the item shows. Also, you could have also had an ac raising spell on, like the Skin line.
EDIT: Oh, and the DMG Bonus has nothing to do with the ac on the item, it only affects damage.
I dont care if anyone badmouths this weapon, it rules for an off hand for a rogue or ranger. It will proc once, maybe twice a fight for me at lvl 39 with 171 dex, about 85 dd.

I'm not even going to waste my time scrolling up,but whoever teh retard saying that the vaxe is good pretty good for a level 13 warrior ust starting out with dual wield is a moron. This weapon doesn't proc until level 35. To buy it for a level 13 warrior is retarded. If you can flop that kind of cash around at that level, buy something that does good damage regardless of level. You'd think a twinkie was smarter than that. Sounds more like someone who doesn't even know what the blade is. and now I read another msg of a teen level twinkie saying it procs only once in awhile for him...it doesn't EVER proc for YOU....it WONT proc until level 35! until then it's a generic weapon for the cost. Buy something that makes sense for your level!!!
Sorry.....but man I can't stand when peeps blast out crap that isn't real. And seeing the green mist with the skelly heads rotating and seeing the bad guy lose 85 hit points just ISN'T happening for these TEEN level players! ugg. :O) ok....Valium administered....calming down.....<sigh> .....all better. BE REAL FOLKS. The truth shall set you free! :O)
P.S. and I wasn't kiddin about the valium either lol :O) Sad that something so stupid could get me so torked off :O) but hey....maybe someone sneezing across the parking lot would have gotten me the same today. Me postal...Me holiday....Me get to work twice as hard tomorrow to get to have today off, because most normal people still go to work on this one. and to those other Rural Carriers out there....we have the flippin count to make us crazy the next four weeks too! :O)
I have to admit that im an impulse buyer and i saw this for 500pp so i grabed it for my lvl13 Ranger i knew that he wouldnt get the proc but i also had a Centi SS on him and i needed something cause dual weild at 17 and i have a bunch of other druid buddys so thats like 2 hours away. But now i found an easy quest with a proc at lvl20 instead i recomend Wakizashi of the Frozen Skies because even though its only 6/22 it has a 74-81 DMG proc and at lvl20 that its huge its almost the lvl of a lvl19 druid DD spell.(about 100) and its not lore so dual weild 2 of those is more of a twink i think at least. Just my 2 cp.
ya today i was on and saw a lvl 2 bard running around with this in his hand claiming it was his 1st char, but what kind of a sinsable person would givew this to a lvl 1 when they can use/sell it? just a question
Im thinking of tweaking my ranger and im not sure what combo to get him im thinkinhg of wepoans any two of the following: venomous axe of veluim brood (for when he gets to 35),centi LS,wurmy, centi SS and lammy can u please help me thank you in advance.
AS i stated about i think that the Wakizashi of the Frozen Skies is great for untill you get to lvl35 for the proc and its an easy quest so that gives more money for armor. I had a buddy that had a Gaurd Captians Mallet and a Frostbringer but he sold it all for a Windblade and more of his gear and even though he had a better weap the heals that i had to do increased about 2 to 1 so im my oppinion the gear can go farther than the weaps. But then again im only a druid. Right.
From that list there... for sheer DPS (when you're soloing for example), always have Lammy in primary hand, and probably either Centi LS or the Axe (axe will probably give you better taunt) in the offhand. Ditch the Centi SS. You'll never want it.
If you're grouped and you don't want agro, switch over to Wurm in primary and put either the Centi LS (more damage) or the Axe (better taunt again) to keep your number of attacks down, but still get good damage. Lamentation is not a good off-hand weapon.
Hope this helps.

GOt the VAxe at 39 and using in primary; paired with a Centi ss it was Rockiin...now 41 have a Wurmy primary, VAxe secondary and FBSS. It is a killer combo...still procs once or twice per/fight. Much better than the Sword of Skyfire I had, and does more damage with proc than lammy for alot less pp. The Upside, and downside is the agro....its great for peeling Mob's off castors, but makes it tough for the tank to hold onto the Mob. To better manage agro, and interupt castors, I think something like the lammy offhand would be a big plus.

If you are thinking that the axe is the problem with your aggro problems, you're wrong. The wurmslayer just has too much delay, and that is where you are having the problems, but also, a ranger shoudln't be tanking anyway, so you're doing fine. The only time you would have to worry about aggro is when ya gotta get it off of a castor, which you have said you do fine. And about a lammy in offhand, that would be a big mistake, stick with what you have. ( just realised his post is dated like half a year ago... lol, i'll post anyway )
Gukbob Thunderfart Officer of Fist and Flame Proud Warrior of Morell Thule
this weapon aint as good as you think....that is for agro i was in a grp in DL about 2 months ago and i was wielding lammy and green jade axe(this is a sweet weapon even with the -15sta) and there was a warr a couple lvls higher than me(she was yellow to me) wielding lammy and venom axe, after "stealing" taunt off her a few times she came up to me and inspected me and quickly asked...does green jade axe have proc? well no...itz just that this weapon in offhand can deal out major ass dmg(double for max of 70ish..that is consistant 40+ dmg per hit)if you are a warrior and looking for some major ass taunt..lammy woud be best choice that is unless you have 150+dex(i had jbom and venom axe once have had like 145ish dex.. procs like 2-3times in a battle in prim..pretty good agro) this would be your weapon
This is an excellent offhand weapon for those with good to excellent dex stats. I play a ranger with 140 dex and this thing procs at least two times per battle and sometimes more, it's much better than the short sword of yak and I suggest you get one before people realize how great it is. I got one for 800pp while most others are around 1500-2000pp and well worth the price if you calculate two procs per minute into the damage per second of these items they are way over damaging of lammy's and centi LS. With Call of Sky and this puppy, my ranger is procing like mad, these are fun to play with, ranger is level 45 now. Uses Lammy in Primary. Though I much would prefer a swift blade of zek hehe.
Since I have started to dual wield this with a Shimmering Partisan (+20 DEX) I have noticed a big increase in procs per fight. Most so far has been three and this is with a DEX of 127. The added AC is a nice bonus. My only complaint is the "normal" damage on this can be on the low side and it is hard to put down MOB's without the help of the proc's.
Just got one the other day, I paid 1k in the Bazaar on Torv server. Paired with a Centi SS in my off hand im now putting out some serious damage for my lvl...Sold my Sword of Skyfire to raise the cash. Love this thing, it procs 2-3 times a fight...more on Hill Giants. Be carefull in Groups against tough Mobs tho, your main tank will have a tough time holding agro.

A friend borrowed mine and he practically begged me to swap for his Centi SS - after much thought (2 seconds) I declined the generous offer. I got mine the old fashioned way - camping TS for hours upon hours and finally winning a roll. I immediately wanted another one, refusing to believe I shouldn't be able to dual wield them even though I know it is Lore.
People still want them - they can buy from someone else cause I won't be selling unless one of my alts wins another one. As for the twinking, I agree it is total BS to have a level one be able to use these. But then I used some two hander (Stormshield?) from Sebilis that doesn't proc till 50 and then only spirit armor, so it was really just good for all the stat adds. Now that thing should proc at like 25, the proc is so weak. Anyway............

Posted:Jul 14 2002 at 7:17 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) How muchh would one of these cost on Rallos Zek server?! Cause My warrior uses Wurmslayer and Centi SS And im gettin rid of that piece of SH** Centi SS (known as a weapon).
WOW. I borrowed this from a friend to try it out. I like it :) the DMG/DLY was lower than my JBOM but the 85dd proc goes off on a regular basis :) If you want to keep aggro off of the monks and rangers this is the toy for you :)
My ranger uses this in offhand with a lupine dagger in primary and most of the time i outdamage the warriors in my group lol.I dont have the proc yet (im only 32) and you gotta love the AC with this my new ac is 707 unbuffed.
And why exactly do u want to outdammage the warrior in your group ? To make the cleric waste mana on you ? Ranger are not tanks, equip yourself with nice DPS weapons with no proc, survive and dont make ur group killed. *sigh*
Rangers are not tanks........ oh give me a break. In your world ONLY warriors can be tanks? Only clerics can heal too I suppose? I can just hear you in a group: "Oh no, the pally cast a heal!! You're not a cleric!!! Take back that heal!!" Better tell Sony to cut out some classes for you. If I'm soloing a mob strictly melee then who the hell is the tank???? If a cleric is soloing melee then the friggin cleric is the tank. The very best tank is the one you got, not the one you wish you had. Bloody class snots, every class has good and bad points, but no class sucks. Yes, rangers suck at summoning pets, but then again, necros suck at foraging. Yes rangers suck at feign death, but then monks suck at tracking. Double *sigh* Sorry, but another "Ranger can't tank" post sent me over the edge, better now.
Hey hold on here, i never meant to say that ranger sucks, i guess that if no warrior or paladin, or shadow knight was in the group i would say : "Go ahead and tank away" since it would be the "very best tank" according to your definition.
My point is that in the previous post he was braging that he was OUTDAMAGING the warrior so there was one. To much ppl get their party whiped because they "can" do something. Warrior who "can" pull when a Paladin, a monk, a bard or a sk are there, bardz who "can" CC when there is a enchanter, druids who "can" heal when a cleric is around and so on...
Stick with what you do best, Do your best when you have to do something else.
My LV38 Shadowknight used a Centi Shortsword for most of his 1HS life, mainly for the added STR and STA, but once he hit 35th, I immediately switched to the Venomous Axe of the Velium Brood (VAofVB).
Why?
1.) The 85dd proc is very handy for soloing (fear-kiting, etc.) and for Taunting when you are the main tank for your group. If your DEX is at 101 or above, expect the proc to go off an average of 3-4 times per battle. (Couple this with Vampiric Embrace and you got double bonus mob damage!)
2.) 10 AC on a weapon is a very nice bonus.
3.) While a Crystallized Blade (13 31, PAL/SHD, drops in Crystal Caverns) is obtainable at the level you can equip the VAofVB, the proc makes up for the lower damage on the VAofVB.
As for the complaint that it equips/procs at 35th, i think it was a good move by VI. Too many newbies with donated gear that they don't appreciate. Everyone's first EQ character should have to suffer with lesser gear until they get to a level to be able to farm it for their alts. As for twinks, anyone who's main is capable of obtaining this item in Velks probably has an alternative 1HS weapon for their twink to use until 35th.

Hey, I was just given this weapon and I'm only lvl 13. The guy who gave it to me always does 85dd, I only get it a few times. This is because of the lvl. If it says lvl 35 then it means it. PS, this weapon can be sold for up to about 5k - even though once you get hold of it you will never want to. You'll see!
For all the noobs who think that this is only worth 1k, FINE go find one, I would never sell this awesome weapon so cheap. just because you are sad because you cant twink, doesnt make the weapon any less effective for those who were meant to use it. Thus, it rates its price.

I think what most people forget to realize is that there's an actual economy involved. When they "nerfed" the effect they lowered the demand. Regardless of how good the weapon is, or how fair the "nerf" was, fewer people want the weapon now. When demand goes down, the price goes down as a direct result, it has nothing to do with the quality of the weapon, it's all about how many people want it.
#lordgoose,
Posted:Jun 14 2002 at 7:15 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Though you bring up some valid points, your understanding of economics is flawed. Demand does NOT directly affect price. In fact, in certain scenarios, demand will not affect price at all. Most of the time, when demand is higher than the supply (the number of people who are willing AND able to buy item X for price Y is greater than the number of people who will sell item X for price Y), we have a surplus. In the situation of a surplus, suppliers (those who are WTS) will usually lower their prices so that they can clear their inventories. In this situation, demand INDIRECTLY affects price. Demand does not always affect price however. For items that are amazingly rare and wanted by all, suppliers control the pricing. We can see this exemplified in rare items that come in to the game world very slowly or are no longer dropped and considered collector's items (manastone and scimitar of the mistwalker, anyone?).
I think you are the one with the flawed view of supply and demand. You say that if demand is greater than supply, then sellers would LOWER their prices in order to clear their inventory??? That makes no sense whatsoever. So you are saying that since demand for a fungi tunic is very high, that people will LOWER their prices cause they just want to get rid of the pesky things (I am so tired of the dozen I have collecting dust in the bank, says Merchant X)??? Anyone else see the flawed logic here? HERE is how supply and demand work; If many people demand something, and there is a limited supply of that item, then it stands to reason that a buyer would be willing to pay more for that item, since it is highly in demand, and short in supply. A merchant (with a brain) realizes this, and so the price goes up, plain and simple. YOU say there would be a surplus.... the only surplus here is a surplus of DEMAND, not of SUPPLY. More people WANT the item than HAVE the item, creating more people who would (and most definitely DO) pay more for the item than if there were plenty of them. Take FBSS and SCHW... both fine haste items... but since they have both been camped 24 hours a day since they came into the game, their prices have dropped considerably. Since Fungi tunics are such an easy example.... as soon as the supply slowed down to a trickle, demand hasn't necessarily increased, but the supply HAS decreased, so the price has sky-rocketed. Maybe you are thinking of grocery stores that sell perishable items, that put them on sale in order to clear them out before they go bad/stale/rotten. To my knowledge, weapons and equip in EQ have never spoiled...... at least not in MY backpack.
"For items that are amazingly rare and wanted by all, suppliers control the pricing."
In other words demand. Thats what 'Extremely rare and wanted by all" means. Lets not overcomplicate things, I'm sure you paid good money for your education, no need to swing it around.
I sure hope he didn't. Demand > supply = surplus of demand ==> lower prices. Maybe that's how he picked his school. Applicants > openings = surplus of demand ==> lower tuition.
I know this is about a year later, but I wanted to add something here. Let's compare the same product with different quantities:
In Prexus, a large brick of Acrylia and a small brick of Acrylia both sell for the same price, around 60p. Why do you say? Because there are less combinable recipes for a large brick than there are for the small, thus demand for the small is higher, which equates to the smaller brick costing as much as the larger brick. Thus demand can affect the price regardless of the quality.
Realistically, Verant should create a way to split a large brick down to smaller sizes.
You can reduce anything... however, they should at least give you 2 small bricks for 1 large brick, therefore logically making blocks the most expensive out of all (being able to create 2 large bricks to create 4 small bricks)... Except they didn't want to look at the math that would allow someone to constantly revert from one to the other to build up skill points...

I think you need to go look up the definition of the phrase "wanted by all" and then cross reference that phrase with the word "demand". You will find that they are synonyms. Want = demand. Wanted by all = super high demand = super high price if item X remains in low supply due to rarity or difficulty to obtain. The two items you list are perfect examples. Supply is finite on those two items. They no longer drop. In other words they are extremely rare. The demand for them on the market is, thusly, incredibly high due to the fact that one cannot simply get one for oneself. The supplier then sets the price at 50k, and he will undoubtedly get it eventually if the market is short on manastones (i.e. people not selling).
EDIT: on a further tangent, if Verant were to completely disable the Mana Conversion spell on Manastones, you would see its price plummet and it drop from the market altogether. Why? Demand drops through the floor to where people are now selling the item to vendors for 9gp. The in-game vendor system is the only example of constant price without regard for demand or supply. Merchants buy stuff no matter what assuming you have good enough factions to speak with them.
Your argument that Demand can sometimes NOT affect price is flawed at its core. Supply and Demand work hand in hand in every economy except perfect communism, and facism. Even then, they exist on a smaller scale.
I just dont see this as a Nerf. To hunt in Velk's you have to be 50+. So if the recommended level for use is 35 I see no problem there. The only people this will have an effect on are those looking to twink an alt. I'm 45 right now and no I wasnt able to go where this drops and pick one up myself, but I worked my butt off to be able to buy something of this caliber, what's wrong with others having to as well? Just my 2cp. :)
Please tell me why would you want to sell this for the so called new prices of 1k when you know the weapon is still good. The lower prices would only help the twinkies out more since the weapon and other stuff would just get to the stats it's supposed to have when you reach the level you have to be to defeat this mob. Higher levels that can use this weapon to it's fullest will still pay the old prices since they can use it like it should so why should they pay more for the item that some twinkies can't use to the fullest yet but will be able to in the future.

Don't get mad because I'm "Huge", it comes naturally when your an ogre.
A nerf is when they take away the abilities of a weapon, this weapon still procs the same, has the same AC bonus and the same damage/delay - for people who are level appropiate for it.
As far as I can see, there are two reasons for Verant to nerf this weapon: One, to balance out the game... I mean, how are things fair if you can afford to give a twink a weapon that procs such a powerful DD at such a low level... before, rich people were killing things instantly up until lvl 5 or so, giving them a huge advantage. Even after that, it's still quite an andvantage/ Compare this to the SSoY, which procs at 36. That's a 75dd compared to 85 and the SSoY has worse stats! It does make sense that a similar proc on a weapon should require a similar level.
Reason number two is to drive down the price to make this more affordable to people who SHOULD be using it. This has been very successful, as we have seen the price drop from 3-5k on most servers down to 1k. Most people around lvl 40 can't get 3 or 4k without a lot of work and many many hours. A third or a fourth of that price is much more realisticly affordable.
I hope this makes sense, and thank you for reading it.
LOL it's easy to make 3-4k at level 40, the problem with most is they don't want to spend the time fighting things that don't give exp. I've made 1000's of plat camping two specific spots from level 39 to 53, twinked 7 other characters with the 100k I've made at these two places, all because I don't have to gain exp or speed level to enjoy the income and the goodies I can buy with just a few hours work per day. And now that I have also a 44 druid I have another income with teleporting a few hours a day and a 44 cleric that makes a lil income from rezzing....he will make more at 49 I'm pretty sure.
All too often I hear people complaining about having no plat in groups I play in and they are quick looters also, selfish and uncaring of others in the groups that might like to loot also. These are the levelquesters, who don't know how to play the game, just hungry for something they don't want to work for. I can give up a day or two worth of leveling to make 3-5k and buy me some nice gear, then go back and play a few days again for exp, on a rotation basis, and now with 8 characters, I have an exceptional income. 53 Shaman - 50 Enchanter - 45 Ranger - 44 Druid - 44 Cleric - 32 Monk - 22 Bard - 20 Warrior. Get out there and "work" for it, and quit whinning and being selfish and leeching off others.

I just bought this wep and guess what not nerfed for me why? Because I am level 46...The only people complaining are the ones that use it for twinked chars...and the price has not gone down because contrary to popular belief higher level chars do buy weapons and do use them...I paid 3k for it same as the price it was 3 months ago and I ma happy as hell with it...If you were above the minimum level using you would be to...and to the guy that said how dare they nerf a wep people fought hard to get? chill, what's the problem ? the Venom axe is still an excellent weapon post level 35 ( the now recommended level ), so if a level 1 twink, cannot use it, what the heck ? Use something like a SSoY (9 24)or Icepaw Warclaw (9 24), both of which sell for some few hundred pp ( peanuts in comparison to the 2,5k the Venomaxe is sold for on VZ, and yes, i am aware they are 9 24, not 11 24, like the Venom.. but then again, the venom axe was not meant for sub thirty twinks ) and look forward to using the venom axe next week, or the week after. My twinked but un-PLed VZ bard has a playtime of a mere seven days to level 40 ( with quite some time spend on fool's errands) , so it's an even shorter wait with some dedicated PLing, a Fungi and on a blue server....
But then some people just want Ice comet at level 4, or they are not going to be satisfied..........

lol that sucks dude but hey thats not my prob if you want this weapon to proc lvl to 35 and use it then im lvl 43 warrior and im just been able to afford one so just lvl p is not bad nd anyways daco sucksplayed it for 3 month and deleted it you cant be crying cause they nerfed one item and say im going to daco cry!!!! you be just fine

I dont mind the nerf...but to nerf ones that have already been dropped? That just makes the ones out in the market MUCH less valuable. I trully dont mind the nerf...but you cant do it retro...its just not right.
pls do shut up.. i mean its nerf on an item if u love DAoC so damn much run off and play it. no one makes u play EQ so go do it. play DAoC while i sit here and enjoi my game u can sit and wonder why everyone calls DAoC a copy cat of EQ...
The reason they nerfed the Venom Axe so badly was because people were farming them like there was no tomorrow! Used to be a somewhat rare item. In Terris-Thule, you would see at least 2-3 auctioned during a trade session in EC. Supposedly "unbalanced the game due to lvl 1 proc" as far as GMs giving an explanation for the unholy nerfing of this wonderful wep. 1k is a bit much to drop it in price. Still a good wep! I would say 2k because it has ac on it and dd is poison based which mobs rarely resist. Sadly, no longer an uber twinkin' wep. They should make axe NON-LORE to make up for nerfing so a 35 could dual these!
I haven't made it on in 3 days so I don't yet know if there's a nerfed/pre-nerfed version, but if there's not I'll be pissed. If they're all nerfed I just lost about 4k from the 5k in value this thing had. Mofo GM's should compensate all of us that fought and got or bought this weapon prior to nerfing.
I can't believe Verant nerfed this excellent weapon so much. I paid 4500pp for mine and now it's useless to me. Say a guy in North Freeport last night selling one for 4000pp and people were telling him to lower it to about 1000pp and maybe he could sell it. Why did they retro-nerf the ones already out there. They haven't done that in the past with items. If you already had it, it retained it's stats/abilities. Now on my 30th. level Bard, it's a 9/24 weapon with no proc. It's been great to help get my lower level characters up so I can enjoy playing them as well as my high level. I can't believe the things Verant/Sony does sometimes to this otherwise wonderful game.

This weapon was nerfed on Saturday or Sunday...not sure when cuz I wasnt paying attention. But mine is pre-nerfed I believe...still hits for the same it did with the 11 DMG and im only level 21. It says DMG: 7(11) but I still hit for the 20's at level 21. Also, they DID change the proc on all of them even if pre-nerfed. They moved it to level 35. If anyone has any questions about this weapon, send me an email at magicalbutmonky@yahoo.com. I will also get a new picture up for this site soon, even though I didnt put the original.

Not quite sure how you figure he would hit the same...a 7 dam weapon would hit for 15, not in the 20's as he posted. At level 20, the weapon is not significantly affected by the damage cap. Sounds like there may be a coding issue - shows 7 but still hits for 11 base.

At lvl 35 it gets back the 11/24 becuase it has a restricted level until then. That is what people have told me at least.. I would say price on this thing is like 1k now? Prolly less. No longer is good for putting on your lvl 1 and having em proc an 85 dd which is the only reason most people used it.
Can anyone tell me what lvl this procs at now? Im actually glad its restricted in a way because it was dramatically overpriced because it can be used at lvl 1( i personally dont care) but im gonna be mad if it procs at like 50 now lol; 20 or so would be nice.

I have a Lammy (lamenation) in primary and the Axe in secondary and that is a deadly combo! im loving it and it procs quite a bit in offhand! it procs at lvl 1 and i love the 85dd.
I got one of these last week and it was nice... had a LSoEE and a Centi LS for other weapons. I wasn't happy. I picked up Behemoth's fangs (13/21 piercing neg 25ac) on the auction channel. I put the fangs in main and the axe in off and I ROCK... OMG. The axe doesn't proc as much in offhand, but it's good so I don't draw too much agro. With this combo I get the same amount of agor which is good.... I do like this axe though very nice.
I just picked up this weapon for 2600pp a few days ago. It is a sweet weapon and well worth the money. I was planning on buying a lammy to use with my Centi LS when someone offered me an Arbitors Combine GS and Centi SS for my PRE NERF LS. I made the trade. While shopping in GFAY for the Lammy, I saw this auction go up and we came to an agreement at 2600pp. Can't believe a weapon this nice went for so cheap. I sold the ACG for 2500pp and now will try pick up a lammy to dual with this awesome weapon.

40th Season Ranger---Geez, on drinal server most anything is not worth a crud anymore...Wurmslayer's sell for 1k-1500pp, Treeweave BP goes for 1k now, but still this wep seamed to go for 3500-4500pp, so i had to see WTF the fuss was about. I scored, Traded Stormfeatehr tallons, Spine Chill Spear, Beetle Stinger, Batskull Earing, Centi Short Sword and Soiled Breechclout for this. Im told was a good deal seeing as trades only worth this in this order : 700pp, 500pp, 250pp, 200pp, 600pp, personally i feel those weps should be worth more, but our server sucks alot, would appreciate update on this or email to JLMeq4life@cs.com about what those weps sell for on your server. OK peace out all :)
I have a really crazy thing to ask all you peeps cuz it's bugging the hell outa me... Has anyone other then myself tried to sell this at a vendor to see how much they offer???
I have tried several vendors, in several zones, with factions ranging from "you suck" to "please, enjoy my wife!" and not a single one of them will offer ANYTHING for this at all. WTF!?
Hahah that's gotta be the funniest post I've ever, ever, read :)
I get offered nothing for this too - I'd say that given that the item was never intended as vendor crap (ie its a rare drop off a rare mob) that they never bothered entering vendor pricing data.
