Vol. 9 No. 1

~Attack on Neriak!~

Riots are expected in
Neriak soon. Reports are
coming in from Neriak, the
home of the estranged
Trolls, telling of an
attack by a small group of
powerful adventurers. A
tragedy has befallen the
Trolls of Clan Grobb, the
largest surviving clan of
Trolls. No Dark Elves were
harmed in the attack but
several Trolls lost their
lives. The attack seemed to
target their leader, Bortar
Ripkiller.

As usual it is not safe to
interview the Trolls, but
we did get a statement from
a Dark Elven resident and
he had this to say, "The
motivation of the attack is
not clear, yet. The
attackers seemed to enter
the city and before anyone
knew they had slain that
fool the Trolls called
leader. Perhaps this is
just the push the King and
Queen need to get them out
of Neriak. The Trolls have
been trouble since the day
they arrived."

Here at home in Ak'Anon
feelings about this attack
are mixed, though many are
happy that with the Trolls
occupied by this attack it
will be safer to travel.

~Dott Fiddletink has been
captured!~

Dott Fiddletink, the leader
of the Steam Vectors, has
finally been caught. The
Steam Vectors are a
militant terrorist group of
Gnomes who have tried to
attack Ak'Anon on several
occasions. Their latest
attack, if it had
succeeded, would have been
the end of Ak'Anon and the
Gnome way of life. She was
overheard saying her plans
were to just dismantle the
King Ak'Anon and be Queen
of New Ak'Anon.

Her brother, Tikk
Fiddletink, was interviewed

shortly after she was
captured. "It seems she
will go to any lengths to
realize her dream." Tikk
paused, then continued,
"It's hard to say why she
does things like this, I'm
glad she's finally in
custody."

When questioned on the
weapon Dott used, the
Fiddletinks' Heirloom, the
Spinzaflobberator, Tikk had
no comment.
