I don't want to question anyone...ok I do want to question the post below that said if you hit 100-120 times with it, it turns into a very nice weapon. I got mine last night, and used it for about 150 or so hits, mostly on green mobs, and it didn't turn.
My question is...is this post true, has anyone else verified this, does it have to be on blue mobs or above?

Have given this to my 21st lvl warrior and pounded on the /con Blue Prisoner on the 3rd level of Befallen for at least 3 hours straight (put on auto attack and went to sleep ^_^ )
No change in the mace...I wuz disappointed. But at least my warrior got some 1h blunt skill points.

I got one off of a Enslaved Follwer (along with 4 plat, pretty good cash for a slave), and one off of a scarred initiate after she tried to smite me and I made her into a new type of DE pudding.
Sold one to a vendor for 2 plat and put the other in the bank just in case.

If you use the weapon and connect with it for about 100-120 times you get a message going across the screen that says ---Your weapon has been broken in--- You get a 9/26 Used Mace 1hb, wt 2.0 all the same classes.. It actually does have a use

Why the hell would you make a weapon out of cast iron? Cast iron is very brittle, try it, go get a cast iron frying pan or something and then bang it on a tree... the pan will break.I dont know where verant got the idea for cast iron weapons but.... then again its verant.

Just kidding of course, but it did seem for a while there that every item posted people said it should go to the monks. Lets see an ogre might be able to attack with it 4 times without depleting his stamina bar heheh. This has to be a quest item. Non magical, lousy stats, 19 wt. If they think someone will use it, I want to know how i can get in on selling some of what they are using, I need to pay off my mortgage.

Come on... unless this cast iron mace has super OMFG cool graphics, and a lvl 30+ just wants to use this to beat up newbie mobs to show off... anyone who seriously considers using this item must be smoking some really pure crack!!
In fact, i'd say it'd better off using ceremonial wedding sword to attack hehehe.

Do an equipment search on this site for "Iron". Check out the weights. This item is an anomoly.

to bad throwing damage isn't based off the weight of the weapon =) that would give this peice of crap some purpose
