Hm... i got this weapon yesterday on a trade and have looked at it since then and it says it is an 9/30 weapon... not 8/30. Anybody else seen this discrepency or am I just going crazy????
I have to say this dagger is sweet. I found it on a vendor in EC last night for a little over 4pp. WOW I started grouping and was out damaging the warriors in my group who were as much as 4 levels higher than me.
Granted at the time I was only 5th level rogue, but i forsee using this little baby for a long time to come.

I hate to flame, but a 12th lvl rogue calling an 8 damage weapon crap screams "twink" to me. I didn't get an 8 damage weapon till I managed to save up and buy a serated bone dirk around lvl 16, and most of the money I had to borrow from a lvl 50 guildie. Granted, at this point in my roguing career, I wouldn't want this, I would have loved it for 60 plat at level 12, when I was using a dragoon dirk.
At the risk of pointing out what I thought was obvious, I believe the reference to "Crap" was his frustration and disappointment in himself for not picking up the weapon when it was offered at a nice price.
I have to say I am a twinked out rouge character weilding a blood stained fang and i still think this weapon is nice. I do not think I would have paid 60pp at 12 maybe more like 25pp but it is still a nice weapon.
Oh I twinked him with stuff not money he had to make that on his own. If I had 60pp at 12 it would be mainly spent on bandaids and food and water.
Have you ever noticed that you drink alot of water in Nro? =)

If Befallen originally had DEs all over the frickin place and I mean ALL over it...then it has not changed back on Prexus Server. I was there yesterday...actually I died there yesterday. I am lvl 10 and I couldnt get in a group cuz I was too low level. Many MAny DEs all over. I don't think vernat has got to Prexus yet to destroy all the cool stuff that drops in Befallen.

Actually, I have both SotB and Guardian Dagger (after a kind Ogre SK gave it to me for services rendered). I use the GD for backstabs - SotB yields 44 bs, whereas GD yields 61.
This dagger would make me weep with joy if it would stick in my ranged. Ah well.
No, as far as I can tell, it does not drop any longer...spent about 4 hours in befallen yesterday, and none, repeat *none* of the "new" stuff dropped for me...
no, this does not fit in range slot, I picked one up today, and tried it, hoping that it would stick in the range slot...alas, mine is now up for sale, as my 23rd Dwarf Warrior has better weapons than this already...
For Sale on Zebuxoruk, send a tell to Thak if interested
Thak Havocblade of the Guardian Alliance 23rd Blade of the Stormguard Zebuxoruk
Just to be totally clear on this: it DOES NOT fit in RANGED slot, correct? That's unfortunate indeed. Excellent stat boosts and very little weight; would be a perfect fit. Alas....

Guardians of T`Vyl round level 25, very common drop on the 3rd floor. Look out for the backstab on these SOB's... Hittin me at level 22 for 170+ damage BSing! And the spawn rate on the 3rd floor is insane. 10 minute spawns and there are mobs everywhere! Very easy to get surrounded. Total madhouse. I wouldn't suggest soloing it at any level. =)

Very easy to solo - just don't run around like a mad hatter. And I am yet to be backstabbed by any Guardians or Servants... Guess it's cos I don't turn my back to em... Good philosophy that.
Tried it with a group of 30ies and saw the hugest train in my life. Worse than the "whole house" trains in Unrest or the famous BlackBorrow trains. Stupid things can see trough walls and are agressive, even when green. So you think you pull 1 greenie and kaboom - 15-20 MoB train whacking you down.
You could solo at the entrance door to lvl 3 or down the well, but unless you want a hell of CR I wouldn't recommend it - and better have a bard or chanter for crowd control AND a Druid with evac in your group.
Actually, there is a place where you can pull Guardians 'til the cows come home and possibly never suffer a huge train. Go through the secret wall midway through the main hall on the third level, past the Cmdr Windstream spawn area, and then into the main cave room, then turn right. You go down a short, somwhat curved hallway, and you will see a dark elf female standing against the wall. In the little hallway leading here, there are two Guardian spawn points. Simply wait here in this room, and when the Guardian(s) pop, pull them into the room. The dark elf female will cast a few spells on them, actually assisting you, and you can proceed to beat the snot out of em. Just put some sort of snare or root effect on em and you will be fine. However, do not sit too close to the walls here while you med, for while there are no pops in the room itself, I have had a mob aggro me through the wall, training the entire second level on me. It was ugly.
but more like what lvl? I almost have duel wield (do i have to put points in before i can duel wield cause id hate to have to run all the way back to east fp through the tunnels etc.)i am lvl 12 and 3/4
Finally another 1h-piercing weapon that a Paladin can use. It's about time that Verant started putting in more items for low level Paladins to practice their skill with.
