with all the time effort and ppl needed to make the cultural stuff, to me the stats really don't make it worth the effort. I have yet to see any of the cultural stuff on The Tribunal (though I haven't looked very hard either). Other than the bragging rights to say "I was the first to make one of these", I can't see the use. Too many other things out there that are easier to get and has just as good, if not better, stats than this stuff. Yet again...Boo Verant

Gee wiz...you are right...ac 25 hp 30 mana 30 and all saves bracer suck. Imbued version adds +5 to wisdom....paladins and clerics gonna hate that.

C'mon. The new cultural stuff is amazing. Work is NOTHING compared up to 5 hours in ToV waiting for a plate drop.

You can find almost ANY component to make this stuff in bazaar or actions. Find or make a 250 smith and away you go.

For plate classes and, somewhat, for chain classes, the new cultural stuff is great.

What time effort? Sure the smithing skill needs to be very high but thats normal for all nice armor. Now as for the ingrediants... Swirling mist off air elementals (lvl 15 or less mob in najena), Imbue emarald (just ask any high elf cleric for one if your not one already), Morning dew (foraged by rangers/druids/bards in all of faydar, sells for like a plat a piece), Essence of moonlight (probably the hardest to obtain as its found off creatures in Mistmoore.)

Now why does this take soooo much time. This armor is better than all Twilight armor quest peices and its easier to obtain the parts too. Plus if you wanted to sell it.. most peices sell for 2K-4K in the bazaar. Seems worth it to me. I know Bards LOVE the non deity version of this armor. Hands down the best armor you can get besides planes stuff and certain Skyshrine peices.

Since the new cultural additions morning dew sells for 5 to 10pp per dew on Vallon at least but other than that additional cost you are pretty much on point.

Due to the new Bazaar addition I've now seen em selling fer over 100pp each on saryn... If I could find whoever is selling morning dew for so much I'd smack am and say, "No juice for u!"
However! To avoid the no juice comment, I just started a druid and sat there for a day or two foraging, did one item transfer and VIOLA!!! Got some morning dews. (THEY'RE NOT WORTH 100pp!!!)
So if you're selling em fer 100pp, where do you live???

Juice...mmmmmmmm
Morning Dew..

About some items of this recipe:

Imbue Emerald can also be casted by a druid of Tunare.

Morning Dew is a foraged item from the continent of Faydwer, so hail your local druid or ranger!

I have a HIE cleric, I better get her start on smithing!
found it (I think)

go to www.eqtraders.com/ and look under Recipies and under racial forging.
Whats the ingrediants for this??

I Have looked in several places and cannot find what ingrediants r used for this
RE: Whats the ingrediants for this??

1) A High Elf Smith with skill over 200.
2) A Level 49+ Enchanter to enchant the Mithril.
3) A Level 29+ Cleric of Tunare to Imbue the Emerald.
4) Someone with a Brewing skill of around 135 to make the Temper.
5) An (Imbued) Emerald
6) A Plate Gorget Mold
7) An Elven Smithy Hammer (returned)
8) Three (Enchanted) Bricks of Mithril, which are combined into an Enchanted Block of Mithril, which is then made into a Enchanted Folded Sheet of Mithril
9) Two Morning Dew. (One for the combine to a block, one for the making of the folded sheet.)
10) One Moonlight Temper. (Made from One Morning Dew, 1 Swirling Mist and 2 Essences of Moonlight.)
11) Lots of luck... people with Smithing skill of 230+ are only getting about a 20% success rate on this stuff.

The last point on the armor being the skill check has been lowered to about 210 to 220 range so it is now easier for say a 190 smith with a geerlock to attempt the armor with a reasonable chance of sucess.
