The AC on this item was recently improved to 18.
for all of the "old" cultural armor, the trivials were lowered may 8th 2002. Instead there is "full mithril armor" and "artificers armor" that are extrememly insain to make. While these armors arn't exactly easy to make, they are certainly alot easier than they were before. The stuff to make the temper dose take a lot of effort to collect (I think morning dew is the biggest pain, but that's my opinion), but it's nice armor that is difficult to find better for sale for certain peices. Prices then were in the 6k range. Prices now should run around 2-4k for any peice. Depends on how common grandmaster elven smiths are on your server, and general prices. I could see the one sheet peices going for as little as 1500pp, but the sheer amount of trouble involved in making one of these probably will keep the price from crawling below 2k. While this isn't nearly as nice as the high end cultural armor, it's still better than most twink gear.
True, but even if the High Elf Smither makes this stuff.. it's gonna be when someone orders it from him. On my server, I'm trying to sell the enchanted Koada Vambraces (14ac 4str/cha 5dex) and can't seem to get rid of them even at 2k. I wouldn't dream of dropping them below that.

I want to buy a set of this for my cleric please contact in game with price if you can make this stuff. will want to get BP legs arms boots wrists and maybe gloves depending on glove stats like my black hands lol.

I thought all tempers were 135 still to get it trivial. and based on the rarity and time to get 2 essence of moonlight in MistyMore and the level required, I would make sure I was well over 135 before attempting this.
all tempers do trivial at 135. Try making skull ale till you get to 165 skill. That will cut your failure rate as much as possible.

After 135 triv, your chances of making these never increase...that's why they call it trivial. You're safe making these anywhere past 135. I figured I'd get past it too before I realized what trivial was. =D

I have no conplaints but this ac is awsome what do you need to get it imbuid from the high elf smiths?

You need an Emerald (NOT fire emerald) Imbued by a Cleric or Druid of Tunare as part of the recipe... you also need to have the mithril enchanted by an Enchanter... and the Temper used is trivial Brewing at skill 102 (or 120, forget which) and the ingrediants for the temper are either master Forage finds or dropped by 35+ MOBs.
Sooo... you need 2 medium/high characters just to cast the spells involved... another group to get into Mistmoore... a good tracker and lots of patience in Steamfont for a very rare spawn... about 2-4000 plat for the rest of the ingredients... a master brewer and an uber-Smith to put it all together... with about a 50-75% failure rate on the toughest items.
Given time these armour pieces COULD be for sale for around 3-8000plat in EC on your server, but that's only because they're planar or better and not NO DROP (so you KNOW there's a demand)... but don't expect it to happen any time soon.

The temper trivials at 135 exactly. I do not think this armor ever trivials, so failures should be expected. Mithril does not come cheap, as for the mists, just sit in Steamfont or Najena and auction for swirling mists. I know the mists drop (or dropped) in najena, people have tried to tell me they don't, but either someone decided to give a mist to a steam elemental in there, or they drop them. Finding someone to imbue the gem is fairly easy (well it is by the time you can afford this), but those greedy enchanters either wont do it, or haven't bought the spell, cuz it's almost useless. The ac and stats are shweet, but the lack of resists is the only draw back, pick up some BD resist gear and you're all set.
