I used the Fractured Femur that dropped off a Pickclaw Bonemender and got the book today.

I also as a Druid turned in my fractured femur, cat skull, minotaur horn, and a bunch of optic nerves only to recieve a message saying i need all items to fulfill quest. The fractured femur was from one of the bonemenders in Runnyeye. So needless to say i have not completed my quest. Went to try for skellies in Toxx with the Mining Caps, I got one of the caps and turned it in. I recieved some bone chips. Will have to try more caps. :disappointed

Okay...I dunno if the one off the goblin captain is different in some way, or if the goblin captain even spawns anymore, but the femur off of the bonemenders, as of 2/16/05, is NOT the one that Bill Whistletop is after, not sure if quest is broken or what, GMs won't answer me. The beads, optic nerves, and cat skull cap all give me the "must turn in all quest items at once..." message when handed in individually, however this Bill says he has no need for and hands it back...what the hell is up, has anyone found a different 'Fractured Femur' in RunnyEye or Gorge of King Xorbb??? Any info please.

I'm getting the "you must turn in all items at once" message with the Toxx forest fractured femur in hand. I'm going to go try this runnyeye one and see if it works out. I'll post.

The beads...

Its not beads, its a Minataur Horn. I just did the turnin, worked like a charm.

That is correct. It is the minotaur horn. The fractured femur from the bonemender works as that is the one I used for my rangers Ancestral book.

I also disagree. It is NOT Thipt's Femur. You need the Fractured Femur from the Quest in Tox Forest. Mining Caps

Closer examination of the loot from A Pickclaw Bonemender and A Goblin Captain shows that they can both drop the Fractured Femur. This one is tradeable, ie not NO DROP. I do not recall if that info was there before but I don't think it was.

Thipit's Femur is the wrong one. Got my book last night after getting a femur from the skeletons in Tox via quest.

I disagree. I have been trying to hand in the cap, minotaur horn, fractured femur & optic nerves and I'm getting the "must hand in all at once" error message.

This drops as of tonight, on the Terris-Thule server off of the bonemenders. It was an uncommon item from the few I killed.

- Sikkon Cursedorchids - 50 Cleric
- Megadan Cursedorchids - 52 Warrior
Lords of Reality
Terris-Thule

This drops from a Pickclaw Bonemender too. Killed two today and they both had it.

Yep, Pickclaw Bonemenders are what drops this in the new Runnyeye. They're fairly common on the second floor, near the ramp to the first floor (the one that's NOT by the evil eye prison). They drop this almost all of the time.

Not that great of a weapon really, but the main reason people want to acquire this is for the treant fist quest, some nice monk only gloves. As far as I can tell, this quest is a lot easier to do in the new Runnyeye than the old one, can get both of the bone drops on the entrance to the second floor in about 10 minutes. The goblin alchemist in Misty Thicket is potentially a much longer camp.
#Anonymous, Posted: Dec 20 2000 at 1:19 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I've found these on lesser charboned skeletons in Lake of Ill Omen as well. Maybe an uncommon drop. Got like 2 or 3 in a short time, but havent seen any since.

The Kunark skeletons drop a cracked femur, not a fractured femur. Different item, used for different quests.
#Anonymous, Posted: Dec 28 2000 at 6:11 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) also on Greater Scalebones in field of bone as a common drop.
