Vol. 9 No. 2

~ Death of our Own ~

I would just like to take
this time to recognize the
work of young Fylis
Vileseer. He was an intern
working for us when he was
killed reporting a story on
the recent rise in
aggression from the Trolls.
Fylis was a field reporter
with enough talent to keep
him employed with the
Signal for as long as he
lived.

The Trolls responsible were
captured and killed for
their transgression.

~ Strange Occurrence in
Innothule Swamp ~

Reports have indicated that
there has been battle in
Innothule Swamp recently.
The fight was between a
group of Frogloks from
Gukta and some High Elves.
The Guktans claim that
these High Elves came to
their swamp to do "evil",
though nothing indicates
why High Elves would battle
with Frogloks over
anything. We caught up to
Groom who saw the whole
ordeal. This Ogre
continues to fish in
Innothule Swamp to this day
despite the potential
dangers.

"Dey, da High Elves, were
chantin' sumthin when da
Frogloks came and attacked
dem. I don't know if it
were bad or gud but dey
attacked dem. Some other
mercenaries were around
helpin' da High Elves but
in da end, they all poofed.
I did see a troll bigger
dan me for a second. He was
a big one."

A Guktan representative was
overheard giving this
comment to another
reporter:

"They came into our swamp
and attempted to foul it
with some form of
necromancy. Our scouts saw
an ominous figure rise from

the muck once the ritual
succeeded. Whatever it was
it was massive."

Both sources claim to have
seen a massive figure just
before all of the High
Elves disappeared into the
Swamp. Nothing definitive
is known about the figure.

When the Koada
Dal were asked about the
rogue High Elves they, as
you might expect, had no
comment to make.
