You can not pre-loot the violet
This is used in a task called "Spider Tamer Gugan" in The Mines of Gloomingdeep.
Hail Guard Vyrinn and he'll give you the task. The violet can be found on the Spider Tamer located in Gloomfang Lair.
Upon turn in, you recieve this message:
