Great stats and an easy kill. Won this tonight. Only problem: It looks like a Rusty Longsword! Just beware, those who are used to cool looking blades. This one looks like crap :)
I was very lucky to be awarded this fine weapon yesterday and love it. The only complaint I have about it is the graphic is the same as the newbie sword you get on character creation lol.
As for Korocust he has 2 ae's one is a DOT for 300 hp's and 150 mana a tic. He is not perma rooted and you cannot avoid the AE down behind the wall next to the fire or even in then next room. He hits for between 320-692 on my Ranger so adjust accordingly for war /disc.

Me likey, korocust is my new home.
you mean Chardok is your new home, or the pocket zone "Halls of Betrayal" which is only for a limited time (probably until they open up Lost Dungeons of Norrath)
By the way, does this Korocust have any link to the Korocust in regular Chardok or are they 2 totally different spawns in 2 different zones.

I think thats explained in the storyline update... apparently Korocust was appointed by the Sarnak King in Chardok to be the head of his security council, and Korocust was being very ruthless in interrogating other Sarnaks, making them dissappear etc, which raised a couple eyebrows among the king's advisors. So one day they cast a spell that would let the King see into Korocust's chambers, and they saw him torturing one of their high priests or something, doing some kind of necromantic ritual. Hope that helps.
Korucust is a shapeshifter in Venrils service (actually all Drolvargs are shapeshifters...but VI likes to ***** their own lore). As said he was promoted head of the security forces and developed a new breed of sarnaks, the Shai'Din, those are used as terrortroops versus the Iksar, Goblins and traitors, that's also the reason most of them are SKs and Necros.
