My guild killed him and i looted, he dropped a chipped fang with this kick *** weapon, anyone know what its for?

This is a awsome war wep. Has some of the best agro i have ever seen in a wep. I use this and a defiance and it procs about 3 + times a fight. great for central tanking, or when ever. Plus looks cool as can be.

The proc is kind of a joke, it's only 12dmg.

I heard not just Vilefang but all the Serpent/Snake creatures in Jardals Shade (sp?) can drop this blade, and that it's random like the good weapons off of rats, any truth to that?

I just got one and it droped off of Vilefangs. Was red to a 55, and an easy kill for 4 groups.
Wow! Match this up with an Ebon Razor, Walrus Tooth, or Bloodclaw Stiletto, and you gots yerself an awesome combo!

OK, allow me to rephrase my commentary. This weapon has one heck of a doozy of a DoT attached to it. After the Rogue hits, the Effect continues to do over 100 points to the MoB, and they have a shot at increasing that affect each time they hit. That makes this an awesome weapon to add to a Rogue's offhand. Agreed, Ebon Razor isn't going to do much for the BS skill since it isn't a Piecing weapon, but stack this puppy with a nice high-yield 1hp, and you got a MoB that goes to bed with nightmares about Rogues and weapons that bite hard....

this drops off a higher level mob, no one who would be in a fight against him would have any of those weapons, i agree with cronuus this guy is a newbie and should think before he posts.
My 24th Ranger uses one of these with a Wak off-hand, or this secondary and sambata war staff primary(8/18)
And yes, it does proc at that low level.
Not sure when it starts, my guess would be 1st as they wouldn't think to put level cap on a No Drop weapon from DN.

Rogues always have more taunt than tanks anyway, thats why they evade to lose agro, otherwise rogues would be getting hit 85% of every fight.

yes lupine dagger is same damage deley. but it is 4wis 4dex(?) and greater wolf form. this is more useful in some situations due to the massive + posion. or you can just duel weild them.
to bad that that poison effect will get you far more attention then you want as a ranger.

Vilefang is a named serpent in the pool just before Zlandicar, as was mentioned. Looks just like an entropy serpent. Infestation is a cool looking 1H sword. I have never seen the model before. It has an intricately designed hilt with a green handle. The center of the blade is translucent. Not the greatest stats, but it would be useful against poison based dragons such as Trakanon or Severilous, for the PR alone.

Decent Wep, Beats the hell out of a lamentation. Posion is a DoT spell not sure of dmg but not too much. But extra dmg is always great.

He is in the water right before Zlandicar in DN
Where is Vilefang? Directions to him would help a lot. Thanks

Vilefang is in the water at the waterfall on the way to Zlandicar. He's lvl 60ish, but rather easy.
