Got it from Stone Seer Kaigek in Droga, no clue what is for.
This for one of the iksar class quests?

When you hand this in to Warlord Geot he says the following text, and gives you a https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=58020 in return:
"Where did you find this!? This was a present I gave to Xyzith when he first left on his final mission. Hmmm, it seems as if there is a stone hidden inside of it."
"Warlord Xyzith may have fallen inside of those mines but that still does not explain his recent actions. Maybe the stone will shed light on this situation. I knew a shaman that practiced the art of alchemy. Maybe she can recall what kind of stone this is. Take this stone, and search for her."
So...female shaman...somewhere in Kunark, is the next step (likely a iksar)

Ultimately leads to the reward "Pride of the Legion Plans" which are obtained by killing "Warlord Xyzith" in Field of Bone, after taking the stone to a iksar female near the TD CHessboard, and then being sent to heirophant liyx in FOB who sends you on a mission to find a few odds n ends and a mirrored gem (from EJ)
The end item (pike 6) has a can be used in tradeskills tag, likely requires a drop from veksar/sebilis or some high end kunark mob to finish since the rest of the lvl 7 kunark iksar quests do.
