not sure where you get your info, but i have one of these swords, and the AoE fire hits me for almost as much as hit hits the mob, unless i back off, and even then i get hit sometimes - hits for 56 three times or so - if not resisted, while hitting me for 35 or so each time. also if you run to the guards for help - take it off before you get there - as proc will hit them too - and we know how they feel about that. as for value - worth every bit of 2k if you get it before it procs.

dude, you are talking about a different 10dmg/22dly sword; the Sword of Skyfire.

Bards and Rogues can't use SF or WS, and that should be considered when you're talking about price comparisons with those items.
This is actually a nice, quick weapon that would work well for either of those classes.

And skyfire has great stats even without the proc - furthermore, it could be very useful to draw taunt off the healer if you don't have a chanter or a bard. so you're the idiot.

Yeah, but a Wurmslayer has a delay of 40 and can only go in the primary hand, and the Skyfire has an AE proc which makes it useless at high levels. Sword of Skyfire would be worth more without the proc then it is with it.

ummm 4k thats a rip off for a 10 22 1hs weapon, you can get a wurm or skyfire for less than that

Hi,

I bought this item on auction in ec tunnel a few weeks back. Soon as I saw it I grabbed it, I think it's a good replacement for the yak I was using. I recommend it if ya want a better dmg/dly output. If your near ec tunnel on Bristlebane give me a tell and I'll show ya it.

P.S. I might consider trading/selling it in near future. Im looking for Warr gear.
