In case of emergancy, these pantaloons can be tied off at the legs and waist and turned into Wu's Fighting Flotation Device.

mine are green? what does this mean?
As with many pieces of armor, the appearance depends on your race and gender. They're bright green on humans and iksar males, kind of a yellowish green on iksar females. Look here: http://www.eqtraders.com/fashion/cultural_index.htm

what do these look like on iskars?

Comparable to Drake-Hide Leggings, and again, this can be bought from a tailor, and I'm sure ANY person working on the Shawl quest raising their skill would sell this for cost.
Another nice thing about these is the look... a nifty golden color on humans.
It's the Leather texture with a quite a bright yellow color. A bit too bright on the Iksar leather texture though, for my liking. Still, better than the cured silk I had before, or the drake hide I was planning to get.
By the way, the bracers are also the leather texture, but very dark, almost black. My guess is that trying to color the Cured Silk texture looked too odd... and, for us monks, virtally all the pieces show exposed skin which would also have been colored strangely.
