has anyone consideredthe cost tho for this item? not only do you need terrorantula silk (which is going to mean a long camp the componentsare also pretty high priced too if i was making this it would be for fun because by the time you get your skill to a lvl to make these reliably the costs would be ridiculous consider crystal silk trivs at 130 ish now how many attempts at this stuff is it goin to take ? even with 200 int its gonna be silly money to make a single piece and many hours hunting the big spider too so this aint such a nice crafted item after all <8(

what about caster?

What about casters? Most Erudites PCs are pure casters what is their for them

You seem to be suffering from the dellusion that items are created for the majority to use. This is a damned nice piece of armor for those brave few who decided to go the Erudite melee class route. The fact that a tailor need a skill in the high hundred to be able to even think about making this is a slight problem though.

Hopefully VI will impliment a somewhat more usable form of Erudite tailoring, particularly one for int/wis casters. Possibly including humans, since there's often a bit of overlap between the two races (human armor is generally wearable by Erudites, I think.)

At any rate, this armor depends on a rare spawn (the Terrorantula in South Ro) and a high tailoring, but on the bright side at least its pretty worthwhile...

This is the equivilant of cultural smithing for Erudites, it just doesn't use the smithing skill.

And, uhm... aren't clerics generally considered wis casters? Or are you just looking for something to give a druid?
