#REDACTED, Posted: Oct 12 2002 at 4:21 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) YOU GUYS ARE GETTING TWO DIFFERENT BOOTS MIXED UP. WATCHMANS BOOTS CAST SOW WHILE CLOCKWORK WATCHMANS BOOTS IS SOWLIKE SPELL ON GREAVES AND RECHARGED WITH MANA 5 BATTERY WHICH GIVES IT 10 CHARGES OF SOWLIKE SPELL WHERE WATCHMANS BOOTS I DONT KNOW IF YOU CAN RECHARGE.
#Anonymous, Posted: May 23 2001 at 4:30 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) where do you buy tboots? ^_^

Tboots are sold by Marfen Binkdirple in SolA. You have to make yer way into the Clockwork Gnome area and he is in the first door on the left as you enter the "fort". They are about 5.25kpp for my 56 bard 135ish CHA.

My warrior has been using these for little over 2 months now. They where a nice item before the Tboots, and still are since I didn't pay anything for these.

I also have the Vambraces, Helm, and Gauntlets. Over the last few months of using these items and constantly recharging them, I have not failed any attempts to recharge them yet. The batteries cost about 55pp each, so cost gets a bit high with constant use of my set of armor, since I'm only lv40.

As for what they look like. They look different on both female and male gnomes. My warrior is a female. They are an off white, with blue waist area and gems placed in different areas. A very unique look. If you can't find a PC with a full set anywhere to look at, the Minister of Bertoxxulous on the 2nd floor of hate wears a full set. Can't wait to finish my set.

P.S. I really love the gauntlets effect.

Don't neglect that these pants only have 10 charges of the effect. That being the case, you're better off buying sow potions and keeping these for the AC.
BTW, anyone know what the graphic on these is? Would be cool if a full suit of clockwork stuff made you look like a clockwork NPC.

Why would sow potions be better? Aren't these rechargable with a mana battery? 55pp for a mana battery opposed to 100pp for a 10 dose of sow...hmmmmm
Other parts

The effect on these is similar to Jboots, with a different message. It's roughly the same speed.

haste is from the arms. They rock. I've read of the effects, and so far every warrior that uses them love them, except for the fact that they're charged, not unlimited.

All Watchman Clock armor can be recharged by replacing the mana battery. It's supposedly trivial at level 1, so it's HIGHLY unlikly you'd fail, and even if you do, I believe that you get the greeves back.

watchman boots had one charge of sow(cheap)
Dont knock this..

But these babies go for around 10kpp. Now many of you will simply want to go and buy travelers boots, but your missing out on a really nice item here that took ALOT of work to make.
Pretty Sweet

Decent AC for low-mid lvls. effect is sweet too in my opinion. How much these go for and are there other pieces that can be made? Oh, and anyone know what they look like?

Not sure....I would guess either a haste type buff, or a SoW type buff though.

*thinks*

Didn't the Watchman boots have a SoW effect?
