As far as anyone knows, there is no quest. As the previous poster said, there are waaay to many to be all in one quest. They are very nice items, they don't need to be in a quest. Its kinda like saying all combine weps must be for a quest. The most likely reason for all the different talisman's is that there would be few people who have the same talisman, so there would be less of identical people at higher levels, which occurs a lot with all the people trying to the get the best gear for their class.

this is just like the talismans that you need to get into sleepers tomb. i wonder if they are part of another quest. please post if you know.
