This staff was given to all new guides as part of their training. It along with the other guide gear was used by guides in the guide program. This is still usable on those characters who still have it.

I still have this staff on an old guide character of mine. He is no longer flagged as a guide and can't do guide commands or enter Sunset Home.
And the point of including this is what?

This is a pointless waste of resources for Alla. A weapon that no player can get is stupid to put on a site that is meant as a guide for players.

I also agree that having clicky's like this would be invaluable to any warrior or other classes with no magical ability to gate or zone. It's a long way to run for some of us and through zones that can sometimes be more hazardous than the intended target zone. We then have to look forward to the same on the return trip.

Major Translocation potions are not an option considering the cost of them.

The point of including it is so that players can go "ooo... look. GM items. Neat." Have you never inspected a Guide and wondered "Hm. Wonder what the stats on that are." ... well I sure have at one point or another. This is so you can see that they don't have uber stats. In a duel, you would one-round a Guide. GMs, on the other hand... well, the world may never know.

It is not right for soe to have something we can not get...How cruel is this. if one of there friends played and wanted one I bet they would have it but not us common folk...SOE SUCKS...

No. Just no. You're wrong in every possible way in that post. The reason it's something "soe" can get and that you can't, is because it's purely for looks. It's a Guide/GM item. If they wanted to gate, they could without spells or items. And as for the "if their friends wanted one" comment: again, no. It's No Drop, and Sunset Home isn't available to the ANY player that isn't a Guide or GM. So, before you get your panties in a wad and start assuming things, do a bit of research.

A weapon I wouldn't mind getting for my alts that can't gate but oh looky looky its in the zone called Sunset Home a zone where "normal players will never see"!! Why show the weapon then /cries.

Because they're mean, tormenting us magicless warrior types with one of the most useful of clickies.
