i am not in a huge clan...i am not twinked..i dont have 100s of 1000s of plat.. so yes to even have the chance to have these boots would be awesome..
and i do try to go on raids to get this stuff .but as a invite..items are awarded to clan first then invites last.:-) damn maybe next raid

A) you don't have to have your epic.
B) you don't have to have a full set (or even ANY) thurg armor.
C) you don't have to be in a uber guild.
D) need max ally CoV
E) 58+ pretty much (some go lower)
F) min 100 FR/CR (some guilds have 100 MR too as min)

You're lvl 59, should be 60 eventually. As long as you have a good attitude, patience, and experience, good things will happen to you. Yes, if you raid skyshrine with other guilds and not your own, the odds of you winning anything are quite low. Yet, those raids where you expect nothing in return will build you points with that guild, and you have a good chance to join it eventually. patience is key. Patience and determination.
To get these boots, you don't raid skyshrine, you raid tov. That's right, ToV, the place where they have dragons. You need at least a full set of your thurgandin armor and your epics or equvillant weapons to enter tov and kill tov dragons. If your not in a uber guild, get in one allready. Or make one. Doesn't even have to be 'uber', just a guild that has a bunch of lvl 55+ and who can raid tov for the unnadorned drops. You need to be ally to CoV so make sure the dragons you kill are opposite that faction. I know there are some but not sure where in tov they are as I haven't been there yet. I'll check the beastiry on this site for some. What do these look like equiped? I'm a warrior and I've seen that our skyshrine boots look kinda brownish.

Ok thats just my 2cp here:
1.) for ss (skyshrine) armor ya have to raid HoT (Halls of Testing) in ToV (Temple of Veeshan).
2.) you MUST be ALLY with CoV (Claws of Veeshan) to complete the quest
3.) ToV recomends about 20 ppl 55+ given ya not uba. 1chanter, 2clerics, 1shammy (all 60) are a must, a monkey puller would be a good idea as well
4.) some decent resists are essential too, all the mobs in HoT or at least an awful lot have some nasty AoEs
5.) and last but not least, just as reply to Takata, if ya in an uba gui8ld forget what i posted !, i saw uba guilds do HoT with a single group easily, ToV is more a place for high lvl guilds not uba, since ToV armor is base for any guild trying really hard mobs (ssra, seru and the like)
