Is this item even in demand any longer? I've not seen any in The Bazaar on Tunare/E'ci Server. I discovered about 40 in my ELF druid's bank that I must have foraged back in 02/03.

No, cultural has evolved so the items morning dew makes is now obsolete. Also there are now easier things to skill up trades with.
this sucks

I have been farming Brownies in LFay for Brownie Parts for Magi Research Runes. So far Morning Dew has dropped off of Brownie Guards, Brownie Farmers, and Brownies in LFay. Not sure if they drop off any other mobs there since I haven't farmed any there for awhile.

This drops of as easy mobs as the Various Faeries in GF. It is used in many High level tradeskills and therefore sort after by characters willing to pay well. Especially High Elf Smithers and brewers.

It makes Moonlight temper by adding Essence of moonliht(x2) and Swirling Mist. Trivial at around 123 brewing but not 100% sure.

All Mithril Felwithe smithing uses Morning Dew as often as a normal smither would use a water flask.

Hope this helps and All the best.

brewing

it's also used in brewing something. Last night someone paid me 40pp per morning dew and said she'd by all I had. Unfortunately, I only had two. But I'm hanging on to them from now on to sell to brewers!

1) Foraged in Greater Faydark, Lesser Faydark - reported more common of a forage in LFay then in GFay (GFay gets you more cinni sticks in my experience). Time of day does not matter with regards to foraging (I've foraged one at 4pm and 8pm game time). With a forage skill of 200, I get maybe 1 in 20ish.

2) Ground Spawns - Supposedly one near the entrance to Mistmoore Castle as well as one over by the Steamfont zone line. For more information, do a search on "Morning Dew Ground Spawn" over at the EQTraders forums:

http://mboards.eqtraders.com/phpBB2/search.php
http://mboards.eqtraders.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=3511&highlight=morning+dew+ground+spawn

3) Mob drops - The Brownies and Faeries/Pixies in Lesser Faydark (not sure about GFay) will now drop Morning Dew as a rare item. (Again, a quick search over at EQTraders will give you some good ideas of which ones and how common.)

i find them all the time

last night I just deleted about 4 of them. I find them all the time in gfay by just running between the lifts and CB.

These sell for about 30-40pp on The Tribunal in Bazaar. Can pick them up from newbs now that they can be foraged at skill of 1 for about 3pp each. Good for a quick 27pp profit.

Just my 2cp
ground spawns
# Jan 04 2003 at 11:06 AM Rating: Default
I did a quick research on the ground spawn theory. When you drop a morning dew on the ground from your pack, it does appear as a green leafy thing on the ground. So after foraging for hours in Gfay and not seeing any groundspawns, my opinion is that the previous groundspans found were actually just dropped there by peeps as junk.

Morning dews can now also be found on the corpses of Faeries of all types. So if you need quantities of them, just kill off the Faerie village in Lesser Fey
I didnt know what this was

I foraged one the other day at 68 forage skill in Butcherblock. I just deleted it b/c I didn't have room to keep it. LOL

It seems you can now forage nonedible items below 100 now. since a recent patch. I have a dozen Plains pebbles if anyone needs them on Morrell thule /tell quintan

it is a ground spawn too

On the Seventh Hammer server morning dew is both a foraged item and a ground spawn. As a druid wood elf I forage things all the time. Ground spawns appear to me as little green leaves on the ground, a bright speck against the forest floor. I hear they are only found in a few places, Greater Fay being one of them. On our server the going rate seems to be about 5pp.
I am buying
# Feb 06 2002 at 2:51 PM Rating: Default
If anyone wants to sell, let me know. I am buying. Look for Nikk, Kylaeman, or Arzo.

Thanks!
Doubt it's a ground spawn
# Aug 24 2001 at 7:08 PM Rating: Default
Someone probably just drop this after foraging it. I know I drop the junk I don't have a need for when foraging. You'd be surprised how much junk you forage. Anyhow I foraged this while poping silk in GFay.
RE: Doubt it's a ground spawn
# Oct 21 2002 at 6:53 PM Rating: Decent
Most of the new ground spawns will have their own grafics.
This one appears to me as a little clump of bright green. If someone was to forage it then drop it?....it would look like a little brown bag :)
smithing
# Jun 05 2001 at 7:51 PM Rating: Decent
i know that it is used for smithing to make the temper for racial elven armour
brewing ingredient
# May 23 2001 at 11:37 AM Rating: Good
you can make elven wine with it which I believe is the next step after Ginesh. It is part of the morning temper brew also for smithing Elven racial armor Gemmer Goldbar Enchanter Karana server
A Ground Spawn?
# May 14 2001 at 12:21 PM Rating: Default
just wondering if there is a ground spawn for this or is it just lucky finds of a wandering druid, i can forage these, but if there is a ground spawn, then i could forage it and pick it up off the ground.. that way i can get more, thanks in advance

I have found this as a ground spawn in LF in the Faerie Village. Looks like a leaf. BTW what is this thing used for?
RE: A Ground Spawn?
# Jan 01 2002 at 6:00 AM Rating: Decent
BTW I have foraged this item while in Gfay -- not sure of the ground spawn idea but I do know that its foraged and could have been dropped by another player....

Does anyone have a location of the ground spawn, I need these to brew tempers and I couldn't find the ground spawn anywhere
RE: A Ground Spawn?

I asked around last night, and apparently it is a component in tailoring (?).
