Essence of Moonlight can be found in The Ritualistic Summoning Grounds which you can only enter by way of an Adventure from Butcher Block

Ok, got a high elf smith with a BS skill of 175 now ... and my lvl 34 druid is a brewing master, has foraged enough Morning Dew and found some Swirling Mists ... only the Essence of Moonlight is missing, heard that it can be found in MM. Since Moonlight Temper is used in all cool HE-racial-smithing-items, I'd like to know if anyone knows a good way how to get the Essence...
If you can survive the trip, stand at the zone to mm and auction/shout you are purchasing it. Alternately, again if you can survive it, try checking any vendors in the zone, and nearby areas. Many non-smiths just dump the stuff on the nearest vendor. Thirds possibility, find a high level character who needs a piece of the armor, and tell them that essence of moonlight (more than you need for their armor) is part of the price. BTW, if it's anything like human cultural armor, at 175, you'll still have a lot of failures. You may want to concentrate on FP until 190 or so.
