Where can this be purchased?
Does it strike anyone else as strange that a copper ingot costs over 75% more than a platinum ingot? Especially in a world where a copper piece is worth 1/1000 of a platinum piece?
I certainly sympathize and have a bit of a problem with new "raw" materials being constantly "discovered".
Having acknowledged that, to get the last bit of impurity from something may well take extra runs and extra expense making the item far more expensive to make than one that is merely.999 pure

I couldn't agree more. It would be nice if things made more common sense so we didn't have to do so much looking up. It's not like the old days where you could eventually memorize most stuff. There are just too many things now, and not enough photographic memories. I hate how they have "fixed" some old quirks because I feel like it steals my memories instead of passing the experiences on down to the next generation. But creating them from scratch is a "should be known" foible at this stage of the game.
