If your having trouble trying to get the Dragoste clickie part to work equip it first and then it should work from your bags.

I can't get this to work. I equipped it and tried while wearing it and in bags and in inv slot. can't get it to work. Does it have to be evolved all the way?

This does not add to capped stats.
Finished this about a week ago... the only hard part I had with it was the tenth? step, when you defend kathryn against four tuffein in a row. I kept getting killed by kathryn's dot by the second or third guy. I got a level 59 cleric to help me with it, and he easily kept me healed while also nuking the tuffein and still had mana to spare

Finnished a couple days ago, 100% soloed by a level 53 toon. Took me a couple of afternoons. The defend Katherine parts were the hardest because I let her die a couple times since I couldn't hold aggro that well and her annoying little fairy friends came to the rescue. But it's just a matter of getting that part of the quest again and keep trying. Took me a good hour to find the leaves on the ground, almost became cross-eyed. Everything else was really easy. The buff doesn't stack with Shaman Focus line, just as it has been said (not sure about IoS however, haven't tried). But at lower levels when you just get a Temp or a Virtue and head out smacking mobs it's a really nice clicky, not just for the stats but also because of dispelling mobs. Was actually a fun quest =)

When doing this quest remember to keep the earring from the very first step reward in your bank. Finished this on 2/20/07 9:20pm

why keep in bank is it buged that you have too have it in your bank and not in one of your packs?

i did the whole stupid line of this quest and got zilch. no earring. did get the exp but who cares about that. did this for that stupid earring and i got squat.
This quest has been a pain... I did this on foot and not counting the over 24 trips between cresent reach and the mesa... That evergreen leaf took me 3 days... while I DID get 2 of them they both failed... bad luck I guess... but This is day four and I'm ready to scream for mercy.
I'm short on bag space.. and I'm praying that by destroying the gifts after the quests wasn't a bad idea... I'm looking now and see the final quest is a gift box but doesn't mention a final combine.

Yeah you MUST save ALL the gifts you create in the early missions to combine and turn in the gift box. This is NOT listed in any of these quests but it MUST be done!!
If you have already destroyed items (Like I did) you can go back and do the quests again or have an alt perform the quests and give you the tradable final gift-
I have the earring and yeah it was worth the aggrovation-
I have since found an easy way to get the Evergreen leafs. The light (in color) willow near Kathryn spawns leaves once per hour... look REALLY close and circle the base of the tree until you find them... It took me so long mostly because I dont think I saw the other spawns on the ground. They are TINY.

For all you charmers out there, this is a must have since the higher your cha the longer your charm lasts....

IIRC this is true only of Enchanters. None of the other charmers (Mage, Necro, Druid) are affected by CHA.
is that how it works? I always thought cha only helped the initial stick. After that it was all resist checks
This effect is overwritten by shaman focus line, so dont bother if you are thinking junk buff clicky. Also its not instant, its 1.5 cast and 2 min recast. Effect requires lvl 40. Very nice for lower levels tho.

It's great for higher levels who solo and don't have shammy's in their pocket to run over and buff them. It's also good as a just in case feature.

Is it overwrote by all focus spells ? .. what about IoS? or HoS?
