Camped the four sirens by the SS zone in for eight hours solo with my chanter. Two hairs and eleven scales dropped.
Is there any possibility these drop off the lower lvl sirens in OOT??

Tried to get these hairs for a guildmate. First attempt, we got 2 drops in 3 hours. Last night we got 1 drop in 2 hours. We were pulling the sirens located at the SG entrance of CS as well as the ones on a rock north of there underwater. Pulled nonstop. We may be unlucky but to only have one or two drop over the course of several hours is right up there with the ancient croc dropping sleeves.

not rare i saw 7 in under 1 hour was looking for hairs killed 18 sirens got my hair on last 2 mobs Midgaa mage 61

I had the converse experience -- I killed all the stationary sirens but the 4 near SG about 4 times last night, plus a couple of wanderers, (that's about 46 sirens), and got ONE excellent siren scale and saw about 3 siren hair.

Yes, they are very rare, and No Drop. I was helping a Guild member get some Item's for the 6th shawl quest in Thurg. and we were killing these sirens. I think we saw a total of 2 scales drop in the time that we were out there, 7 hours or so.

dunno if we just had luck or what, saw 7 in 3 hours looking for hairs for the shawl. maybe upped drop rate?
This can drop in Siren's Grotto and is very rare. Killed about 100 and only saw 1 drop.
It might not be rare in Cobalt Scar. Havent tried killing them for it there. So might be common in CS.

Got 3 in one hour hunting for Siren Hair. Not rare.

hunting for hairs. got to of these to drop. only 2 i ever seen and i have fail shawl 3 times now
I heard that these are very rare. Any one try to obtain them and if they are as rare as it seems are they infact droppable? Price?
