Posted: Jul 11 2002 at 11:31 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) as a 56bst you dont needs ac, you never tank. you have your pet and you just sit back and play cleric. so the stats on teh pants are good and the sta is about 100hps so thats an exta sec you got to cast your heal on your pet and save yourself 80 mana, which is about 10seconds sitting. so its a big save of time. and then on the raids which you play shaman at high lvls you could use mana free items. so that is the purpose.

WOW, a pet cleric? Have fun taking 3 times as long to kill something as any real beastlord. Pet clerics are just crappy mages without nukes. Dont be a loser, dont pet cleric!
Yeah, why dont you go buff a raid with click items. By the time you are done with the last person of the 30, they first will begin screaming that their buffs are blinking.

Then you must not have your epic yet. Every 50+ beastlord ive seen with epic tanks the majority of the time for procs, Including myself.

i tank with my bst usually half the fight depending on mob i got 1k ac so it works out ok

I'm not sure why the other armor pieces don't have stats like this. The leggings and tunic are actually somewhat decent.
That's because if you look at pretty much all the Kunark class based armor, only the BP and legs have stats. All other pieces tend to just have AC and some have spells attached to them. At least that's how the druid stuff works. No WIS or any other stats (besides AC and heavy weight) on any of the ES gear except for greaves and BP (and the BP has a weight of 10.0, I might add).

some armour from the flawless rockhopper hides.
It has much better ac and at the level you would be taking out VS you could get the acrylia and hides solo.

LOL woopee doo. Is it just me or does that effect suck? :) I guess extra stamina is not a bad thing but this is not gonna make people beg you to group with them.
Seems kinda lame for a VS drop...but, considering the drops in Luclin, who's loot hunting in Kunark now anyway?
I bet the clock is ticking on all these phat Luclin drops, especially Maidens Eye. Seems like Verant intentionally does this on expansion release, to get everyone to run out and buy it. Then later they'll say "oops, big mistake...<nerf nerf nerf>". But it's too consistent to not be intentional.
Let me explain this in the simplist possible way.
You. Are. An. Idiot.
HP is what you are REALLY going to be aiming for at higher levels, regardless of class.
Why? Because all other stats are so easy to cap. Why are Mosquito Leg earrings worth 120k? because they have 75 hp.
Stamina = HP. HP > AC.
This is how many people rate importance of stats / effects :
Regen > HP > STA > Aura of Battle > AC > AGI.
My 52 monk has Grandmaster's Leg Wraps :
6 ac 5 sta 5 agi 2 all saves 30 hp effect : spirit of ox.
I can get around 80 hp from just the proc. HP = Good.
Before I get totally flamed by people saying "AC ROXXORZ", I would like to say this. HP and AC are the most important stats. But, AC is capped. HP is not. Think about it that way.

He is correct. These leggings suck with a capital "S"
These go for about 2-3k nowadays...you almost have to give them away.
Brown Chitin Leggings have similar stats and you can get those in the bazaar for around 50pp.

uhh well not ALL classes--any wiz who needs huge AC is not playing a wiz correctly

i agree but as a bst you want to get more ac first cause if you going to velks or sometihng and you only got like 800ac mobs gonna hit for max hit alot but if you got like 1k+ youll be alot better off ac> than hp to an extent the get hps

Why would you want any of this "Wild Lord's" stuff if you're a Vah or Iksar Beastlord? Acrylia Reinforced armour is much better AC and has good stats too!
im geussing these would drop off venril sathir like the rest of the kunark/class armor leggings.

Yep, off of VS. They ought to include that info.
effect is a shaman spell, not sure of the lvl, but I will print the info from eqcaster =).
