Looted 3 of these tonight in Emerald Jungle off Erollisi Mantraps.
How much are these generally worth?
I didn't believe that this dropped anywhere but Swamp of No Hope, but I just got one from an Erollisi Mantrap in Emerald Jungle, on the west ledge. Killed every plant I came across after that. Didn't see any other drop, although I did get one Mantrap bud.

Got one off an Erollisi Man-Trap plant thingy while there getting my Seb key.
This seems to drop from any man eating variety. I even found one to drop from the shrub (one of the lowest level plant variety).
The best place to farm these is around the area to the SW of the Cabilis outpost, between the iksar bandit camp and the skele ruins (to the south, across the water). Man eaters will spawn and roam anywhere around this area. Keep an eye on the water area - at times a bunch of man eaters will spawn there at once.
Also, don't forget to forage while you're farming drops. The recycle time for forage is about 1min 40sec; I set my timer for every 2 min (I can't set seconds to count down, only min). That's 30 forage attempts an hour. That's about one more bud an hour for an Iksar. Considering its rarity, every little bit helps.
Between foraging and farming drops with 2-lvl51 Iksar Necros I get about 3 buds an hour on average (a variance of 1 to 5).

A ranger I know foraged one, and also looted one from a 'man eating fern'.

foraged in swamp of no hope, took about 15 tries with 180 skill
I foraged mine at the SoNH-FoB zone line in SoNH. I foraged (3) before I realized that the flower-looking thingies where what I was looking for (I was expecting a root icon).
I'd peg it as an uncommon forage, not ultra rare.
FYI, NPC Vendors will not buy this off of players, so forget trying to find it on vendors.

This item is now used to brew the Racial Robe Dyes for Iksars.
This dropped for me from "man eating vine" in the Swamp of No Hope. First kill, aprox 300 hp

Forged in Swamp Of No Hope, 132 in foraging,. Had it on my 3rd try.

Okay from what i have tested, this is not foraged in Trakanon's Teeth, Swamp of No Hope or Emerald Jungle, as spent an hour in each with 200 forage. What is foraged is a "man trap bud" which comes up DNC in the box. I can also say that it is not on the plants in TT or EJ, but haven't tried killing any in SoNH yet.
Can anyone who actually has collected one please say what zone and off what mob?

It IS foraged in Swamp of No Hope and also drops off the flowered vine looking things of all levels. My luck is that i never seem to get what i'm foraging the first time in a zone, but sure enough on my second visit, I foraged some. Relatively rare forage, but has been a more common drop for me.
