the fingers are for the monk shackle quests that lead up to the shackle of try and eventually the whistlingfists the equilivant of the ikky monk epic
The 4 different size fingers fit into one of the three fists (the one you get from the skeleton of the Great Oowump when you give him 5 GP). Once all 4fingers are placed in the fist, you combine to get a complete fist.
