Ragefire TLP 2019 TSS era

On Ragefire TLP in 2019 in TSS era for a max gear/AA level 75 raid shaman main:

This works out to a 9 hour buff which gives you 6 mana regen per tick **which stacks with all your other mana regen**, and also +20% to Dodge in a different slot than the +40% to Dodge that I get from my Dodge IV item, so there's at least a chance that those stack (I haven't parsed it but I seem to be more dodgy).

The mechanics of it are: throw it on your familiar ring or in your bags, right click to activate or make a hotkey in your hotbars, and it summons a familiar that looks just like your speed bump wolf pet. That puts two buffs on you, one "familiar is active" buff that is useless as far as I can tell, and the very nice buff I described above. You unclick the useless buff which has the effect of unsummoning the familiar (bye Felicia), but the 9 hour mana regen / dodge buff remains.

This item is money in the bank. You gotta have it. $$$

Stacking issues no longer are an issue......cast the familiar and tell it to go away then cast your pet. You will still keep the buff.

It does not stack with Reyfin's Random Musings, the clicky on http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=72744
Prolly doesn't stack with Maelin's or Kaotix either but I haven't checked those.

If you have this buff up and cast pet AA, 60 seconds later when pet poof or when all pets die, YOU WILL LOSE BUFF

Ok I have done extensive testing with this effect and here are my results. (Note: I am a Mage and I always do #2)

1. If you do not have a pet up and you cast it you get this pet and cannot cast another.
2. If you DO have your pet up and you cast this you will get the buff and still have your pet.
3. You can cast this pet and put it in your pocket (keeps buff) then make another pet but not really a point to it. (note: with pet in pocket, clicking buff off will KILL wolf pet in pocket, AND your current pet)
4. If you do #2 and zone, you will lose the buff, but not your pet
5. If you do #2, then click the buff off it will KILL YOUR PET!
6. If you do #2, and spend the full time in a zone to the point it wears off on it's own, YOU WILL LOSE YOUR PET!
7. If you do #2, get finished hunting in a zone before buff wears off and decide your done for the night, pocket your pet before gating/leaving zone, you'll have wolf pet when you get done zoneing.

Wife's experience with this as a Cleric: if you have this pet up you cannot use your hammer pet. If you have hammer pet up and cast this, you will get the buff, but when pet dies sometimes you get wolf pet after, other times the buff wears off.

If anyone can think of other things for me to try feel free to post. Hope this saves someone elses fully buffed pet :) I learned the hard way when I first got it and was testing to see what my mana regen was with it, lol.

the druid pets sucks royally, considering it's a lvl 30 pet... so I use this, then I use the earring from the halloween quest, and get the regen from both.

Buff timer is wrong. It doesn't last 360 minutes and when it fades it WILL take your normal pet.

The base is indeed 360 minutes. Bear in mind most of the classes listed, by the time they get this, will have buff extension aa's. It lasts 540mins on my cleric because he has Spell Casting Reinforcement Mastery (50% ext.).

I have a mask that has the mana regen effect Maelin's Methodical Mind, which is mana regen +8, and this pet will not stack with it, as the pet is only mana regen +6. Maelin overwrites it and you lose pet, or if you have Maelin's up, it will say that spell will not take hold. The increased Dodge is nice, and still not a bad item if you don't have a mana regen effect clickie, but a waste of time if you do. Neat for RP situations tho...

Create pet, then click on this - get the effect, but not the actual pet!, if pet dies, effect poofs, if you click off effect, pet will die - just need to remember what order to do it in.
