Sooty fine paper cleaned makes fine paper. High end spells like Spell:Summon Elemental Armaments is made with fine paper - research trivial of 399. Just made one today!

No use to anyone at this time, except to turn it into fine paper and advance your research skill.
To all the researchers beating their brains out trying to find a use for these numerous drops of 5 different types of papers....they are only slated for *FUTURE* use. So far as I have been able to find out they don't even plan on having a use for them with the SoF expansion in November. This is only a guess, but I would imagine with the mob levels they drop from they are most likely to research level 71-75 spells. Seems kind of a waste if true being as the bulk of those spells can be bought, unless it is to one day research the Rank 2 versions. Good luck.

Also found on a seabound raider, off the dreadbone island in the Buried Sea. He was lvl 75
a Clan direwind warlock in Direwind Cliffs.
