Posted: May 14 2001 at 8:43 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) There was this arrow on a GM Quest that was 800 Danage, but has a Delay of 250. now multiply 800 by extra DEX addition, plus the bow damage, and this thing was used to kill the silver Dragon on the E'CI server a while back. Unfortunately, the GM's forgot to take back the arrows, which is good. I still have 20 of them in the bank. (well 17... I've used 3 when I caught strays in the arena. Gee that was FUN!!!!!!!)

all arrows have delay 0. The bow is what has the delay

does this seem weird to anyone...as I have a ranger as well as my pally, I'm of course upping my fletching skill. Why would just one arrow drop? Quest maybe? It's not even a "magic" arrow, so can't use in most situations, (ie ghouls, willowisps, etc.)
Maybe it's just me, but do other single arrows drop anywhere?

Yeah, there are several instances of this. Most notable is the Larktwitter Arrow in Lesser Faydark. Of course, that arrow is actually useful, Magic and good dmg and range.

as a master fletcher (103) this is a higher damage than arrows i usually make but less than half of the range
but it's a free arrow so hey why not use it?

And look at where this drops people. Warrens isnt a high lvl are so tis would be nice for newbie players that cant afford these high priced arrows or cant camp them.

All arrows have a delay of 0. This arrow isnt that good. The arrows I use now are 4dmg 125rng. They are a little expensive, close to 3gold per 5 arrows. But money is easy to come by. And i think my skill is 181, so they are very trivial. Hooked, bone shaft,several para, and small nock gives me my arrows. Hehe try it out if you do not believe me. But the bows are a whole different monster, even though i can make darkwood. Rough darkwood 25dmg 68dly. Good for pulling but not for gaining skill :).

As a master fletcher(103) you should be able to trivial a 4 damage 50 range, or 3 damage 150 range arrow. The hooked, bone, para, small combo is 3 dam 150 range.
For your information everybody, since it doesn't seem that this can be posted enough times by enough people: ALL stats are added for the bow and the arrow. This includes damage, range, AND DELAY!!! Sure, the arrow is fast, they all are. But the thing preventing the arrows from being as fast as you can click the range button is the delay of the bow.
